I LOVE this place. Evere since my first time being invited there, I have returned numerous times. I even had a party there of 12 of us going, Really fun. I like the menu for nibbling while watching the movie and well, just about everything is ideal. Walking about in Pasadena before or after our show is always fun. It is a terrific place to go for a ladies night out or date nigh twith my hubb. I come here now and then with my 27 year old daughter for a week day flick. REALLYFUN!

We had been wanting to catch a movie here for some time. The problem is we tend to decide at the last minute and this place gets booked up fairly quickly. We finally planned ahead enough to check it out. It is located in a shopping alley right in the heart of everything. Upon entering you take a couple of escalators down to the theater level. This level has a large open lounge area and a good sized bar. We sat down for a drink while we waited for our theater to be made ready. They have a solid assortment of liquors and wines. Once inside your server guides you to your seats and introduces you to the features. They will bring anything on the menu, food or drink, to you at any time through out the movie. We tried the Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls first. These were great. We both really enjoyed them. For my meal I chose the meat pizza. It is a flatbread style pizza. It was good as well. Not on the level of the spring rolls, but good enough. The seats are larger loungers. They recline with leg support. They also provide a blanket and pillow for each seat. The comfort is unmatched for a theater. There are far less seats consequently and there is a lot of room between you and your neighbor. The cost is overwhelming at first, but after trying this place it will be hard to go anywhere else to watch movies. On top of all the other features, the service was great.

Quite pricey, but worth the experience at least once. I’ve been here a few times( Unilocal events, company parties, and personal) and have not had a bad experience yet. Here are the highlights: — Small theater with reserved seating — Seats are large reclining seats that are incredibly comfortable and have a compartment to hold your purse, sweaters, etc. — They give you a blanket and pillow — Free popcorn — In theater dining including some decent food and booze(press the little green button and a server will come and take your order). They charge you for your meal a few minutes before the movie is over.

Overall I’m a big fan of this IPic. It’s a great movie-going experience and fun for groups as well(I’ve actually hosted two birthday parties here). The tickets are a little pricey but worth it. Included are super comfy reclining lounge seats paired off in sets of 2, complimentary popcorn, pillow and blanket(be careful you don’t get so comfy you fall asleep… I actually did once) and lastly access to a complete food and drink menu throughout the film. Before entering your theatre they invite you to grab a snack and cocktail in the lounge area or at the bar(which is usually playing sports events). I’ve had some issues with speedy service which is one of the reasons this isn’t a 5 star review. There is nothing like anxiously having to wait for service knowing your movie is quickly approaching. The other downfall in my opinion the the signature cocktails are all a little on the sweet side. Just to be clear these cocktails aren’t quality«Varnish» drinks like Negronis and Ramos gin Fizzes but they are fun nonetheless. The food is good and has a pretty wide variety. My favorite items by far are the Tator Tots and Soft Pretzels. Next time you feel like getting a pampering massage, go here instead and enjoy your movie in luxury and comfort.

I haven’t had a chance to update my review in a little while and I had such a great experience this time around that I thought I would. I have had a love/hate relationship with Ipic for a while now but it really does seem like they have had a major turn around with their employees and customer service. We saw Neighbors 2 tonight and we had absolutely the best service we have ever had. Our server was Frederick and he was very friendly, knew the menu, and made sure we were well taken care of. If we could request him everytime we see a movie we would. The ONLY thing that didn’t make this experience Flawless was that our food took a little longer than normal and the sweet potato fries weren’t as hot as I would have liked. Other than that, everything else was fantastic. I’m happy that IPIC has made some very necessary changes. They have my vote again for best movie theater in LA regardless of the iffy past experiences I have had. Well done IPIC Pasadena. I hope this review helps you decide on where to catch a movie on date night! :)

Sis Drew states that the other location is much more upper class than this, but this as my first time experience was already amazing enough. If my sis’s work never give her this opportunity, I would have never gotten this experience from her later as well. Sofa chairs«recliner» with pillow and blankets while you get to watch your movie(The Boss) is so comfy that I just didn’t want to leave my seating, felt so relax that I just want to nap after the movie and dinner. Yes, that’s correct, I said it, they also serve drinks(not a drinker, so had soda and lemonade instead) and food. They got this nice call button next to your seat where you can push on and someone will come assist you including your order(wish the menu was picture like the other location I have heard). Not only due to our first time, I was glad costumer service was amazing, everyone was friendly and gave us suggestion on the better price deal on the food, and how we should make our dinner’s combo. I felt bad that we made the waiter keep coming back to change our drinks because the carbonation was so horrible during our visit for some reason… Other than than, the experience and the food(by the way could be a lot warmer, felt like it’s been waiting but the steak was yummy and juicy) was amazing! Will for sure come back with someone who hasn’t have this upper class movie theater’s experience before as I did!

Fantastic upscale movie theater. All the employees were great and the food was was excellent. This was me and my wife’s 1st time here and we both said we will never go to a regular movie theater again. For the couples with kids, this is a great date night spot when you can get away. Many drink options and many food options to choose from and free popcorn !!! The prices are a little pricy but the atmosphere makes up for it. Also make sure you get there early as the parking is horrible and it is nearly impossible to find parking unless you use valet.

Ipic is a great place to go to for a first date, this will forsure impress a lady. It’s fancy, comfortable and incredibly romantic because it’s pretty dark inside. But just to warn you guys now… There’s no phone service !! But if you’re on a date, that might actually be a good thing. Steps you need to take: You enter ipic, check in, go down two flights of escalators, walk to the right straight to the bar and get a drink before the movie. Find your theatre number, get comfy with your seat, pillow and blanket, and wait for your waiter to serve you. Arrive early so you can see the menu while there’s light, we came when the previews were starting and it was really hard to see menu. On the side of your seats there are compartments for your purse or whatever items you don’t want in your way. There’s a button in the middle of the table if you need your server. I also like how the food comes out in a timely matter. Lobster roll: boyfriend got this and he said it was good, not extremely good, but pretty good. It also comes with homemade chips which I wish were a little bit more salted, but not too bad. Mushroom sliders: DELICIOUS! Love this! Comes with portobello mushroom, red peppers, arugula and aoli sauce. I asked for extra arugula because that’s my favorite green, and it really made the sliders amazing to eat. The brioche bun was toasted to perfection and I wanted more. Truffle tater tots: normally it’s truffle fries, but I asked if they could make the tots truffle as well and they said yes. I kind of wish I got the fries though because the tots weren’t crispy enough. Plus there wasn’t enough truffle flavoring. I love truffle, so the more truffle the better ! Three dishes plus one drink cost around $ 60 + tip= $ 70. Two tickets cost $ 64. Best to reserve them online beforehand before seats fill up. This place is expensive and its forsure worth the experience, but I for sure wouldn’t come all the time just to watch a movie.

This review is for the seats inside this iPic location, and for the service last couple of times I was here. I’ve been coming to iPic for quite a while now. The whole experience is just different from the first time I was here. Today I arrived extra early and came in first so I decided to write this review before the movie starts. My seat is very dirty with a lot of stains, it’s not even orange anymore. The pillow smells like someone’s unwashed hair so I just left it on the armrest. The blankets, well, they smell pretty weird as well. The headrest literally has a black spot from too many people leaning on it. Last time I was here, I pressed the call button for our waiter about halfway through the movie, and he came in 10 minutes before the movie ended. The time before that, our waiter left with our order at the beginning of the movie, and came back with our stuff about halfway through the movie. WHY. People come here for a different experience and most likely for an above average experience. Please step up your game Cheers to alcohol + movie tho. CHEERS. I am not saying I won’t come back here, I probably would, I just wish the experience was the same as before.

So this was my first ipic experience. It’s a very luxurious movie experience, but VERY expensive. I think movies are already really expensive, but this was over the top. We came here because I got a $ 100 gift certificate. I thought, wow, $ 100 will go a long way for two people to see a movie. Well, my wife and I not only used the entire $ 100, but we also has to pay another $ 20. That said, the theater was very clean, the service was impeccable, and the food was great. I think if you have the money to spend, it is a nice experience.

An iPic experience is defiantly a treat rather than something that can be done on a regular basis. We spend $ 150 on parking, tickets, food and drinks(two people). Our food choices were the Mahi tacos(very tasty for $ 14 for 2 tacos), Truffle Fries(a huge amount for $ 9) and drinks which range $ 11-$ 16 and are not very strong. However, the experience is top notch. You are treated like a VIP from the moment you step to the moment you leave. The seats/set up is extremely comfortable and the experience is just plain fun. All the seats in the Pasadena location are VIP which makes each ticket $ 32 but I am not sure what separates VIP from non VIP except that you get popcorn. To summarize, this is a great experience and a perfect date idea but be prepared to spend $$$

Great place to watch a movie in nice big comfy reclining chairs and a blanket. Popcorn included, and you can order food and drinks from your chair. Nice to have a call button so if you need something during the movie you don’t even have to leave your seat. Don’t sit in the front row. Even though it appears to not be that close to the screen it actually is. Love watching movies here.

The food, drinks, and theater was amazing! The only problem with this place is the service. I’m a tad disappointed with their lack of attention. We spent approximately 45mins to 1hr sitting around and waiting for someone or something. We didn’t get served at the bar until after 15 – 20 mins of waiting. Then another 15 mins while sitting in our seats with the red light on. Food came out about half an hr later. Filet mignon sliders, 4⁄5 Amazing little burgers stuffed with medium well filet, topped w/caramelized onions and goat cheese. The meat was so tender and cooked to perfection. I was very impressed w/this plate. Bbq pork grilled cheese, 4⁄5 Grilled cheese sandwich stuffed w/shredded pork and a side of bbq sauce. It also came w/a side of sweet potato fries which was amazing. I would have asked for extra ketchup/bbq sauce but service never came back to check up on us. Nachos, 3⁄5 Individualized nacho chips topped w/beans, cheese, and chopped tomatoes. It comes w/a side of sour cream and guac. Would recommend a side of salsa. This appetizer was pretty average for me. Prickly pear nitrogen margarita, 4⁄5 This drink was fantastic. It is a blended margarita made w/nitrogen right in front of you! Almost like a witch stirring a potion in her pot. The texture came out impressively smooth and it was very strong. It was tarty and sweet, definitely worth trying!

After a long day of work, I wanted to go home and have my glass of wine, while watching a B-rated movie and passing out on the couch. He, on the other hand, booked the 6:45pm showing of The Revenant at iPic. We got there exactly at 6:15pm(thanks to ample parking at the parking structure on a Tuesday night) and got the last two available seats. Place validates. The nice Australian waitress immediately seated us when we got there. I was disappointed that they no longer offer the $ 5 house wine on their happy hour menu but the waitress sold us on the $ 5 vodka fusion(cucumber and pineapple jalapeño). We also got the unsalted tater tots and marguerite pizza(both good). We were afraid that the drinks and food won’t come out on time but the waitress timed it perfectly. Its amazing how they served everyone and us without any disruption. You really hardly notice them. It’s not until after the movie that I realized how smart this place is. Who wants to pay top dollars to go to a fancy movie theater watching drama on a comfortable lounge chair while drinking stellar house wine after a long day of work?! You’ll either pass out or get sick. Whoever came up with the vodka fusion is ingenious. Strong enough for you to sip it and flavored enough for you to want more. It got me all amped(not riled) up throughout the movie, and energetic enough to discuss about it afterwards. What do you know… the female whisky. From the layouts to their menu, this place really thought things through. Thank you iPic for getting me though the Revenant on a Tuesday night. Place rocks.

My husband and I have been members of iPic for a while now, but lately, it seems that the quality and customer service is lacking. Our last couple of visits were not great and I don’t think we’ll be back for a while. One of the things we used to love about iPic was how roomy everything was. We also liked the fact that you didn’t have to worry about people kicking the back of your seat or rude people who like to talk during the movie. During our more recent visits, the chairs and pillows were filthy. I know there is only so much you can do to keep them clean, but it’s the worst feeling and mood killer when you’re wearing a white sweater and stick your elbow in sauce that was left on the armrest from the previous patron. We recently saw Martian, and before we even sat down, I noticed stains on the pillow, chair and armrest. At the very minimum, aren’t the pillow covers changed after each showing?!? To top it off, there was a girl sitting a couple of rows behind us that was obviously drunk and was talking throughout the entire movie in an «outside voice.» The patrons around her kept telling her to be quiet but it didn’t make a difference. The food and drink service is also rather slow. Their gift cards also expire. We had one at home that was well over a year old because we kept forgetting to bring it. When we tried to use it, the waitress said it expired! I think it may be a while before we make a return visit…
