Huntington Rare Coins & Precious Metals

My husband and I went to Huntington Rare Coins & Precious Metals two weeks ago to sell some old sterling silver. Wayne and Scott were very helpful and answered all of our questions. They also gave us some valuable information on where to sell our Louis Vuitton collection. Thank you guys! It was a blessing, and deeply appreciated. I had shopped around to get the best $$$ possible for a dozen Morgan silver dollars I had for years. The Huntington people gave me the best offer I received, I guess because they were interested in the collector value of the coins not merely how much they weighed.
If you have rare coins, why go anywhere else.

I went here for the first time recently, and I must say, I was very pleased with my experience! The location is safe and secure — you have to ring the doorbell outside to be buzzed in — a great security precaution. It’s easy to get to, and there is ample street metered parking right outside. After going in, I was greeted promptly. I had some nice, friendly discussions with a couple associates, too.
Their prices on buying or selling items (gold, silver, etc.) are competitive and I would highly recommend them! I will definitely be coming back here to do additional transactions since my first time’s was so smooth. Thank you for the wonderful and friendly customer service!

Absolutely NO pressure, or feelings of shadiness, as with some places I’ve called or visited. He offered me fair prices for my items. And I know this for a fact, because I researched their value, before I sold them. I would definitely go there again, and recommend them, based on my transaction.

Went to buy silver and the young man behind the counter was very rude and didn’t want to show me anyother coins other than the coins he brought out and let me know he wasn’t going to spend more than 5min with me. «Its my business and we run it the way we want to and we don’t have to sell you anything» I understand this concept if I was asking for something out of the ordinary but all I wanted to do was look at more coins to decide which ones I liked. I had the money and went in there with the intention of buying, not to waste his time. Definitely not going back there again. Oh and after everything was said and done he didn’t even give me the change left over from the purchase.

These guys are honest and down to earth. I told them about my wretched experience at another coin dealer further down the street and they wouldn’t talk bad about that establishment. They will price match, too and take the time to explain things. They are a business, so like every business, they, too, need to make money, but they are fair about their appraisals. I like their HONESTY and appreciate the fact that they inspect your merchandise in front of you. They DON’T take it to the back and come back 35 minutes later and give you a completely, low ball, ridiculous offer. So, all in all, I will be back and you should, too. Do your research and I guarantee out of all the dealers in the area, you will more than likely end up back here, either making a purchase or selling your merchandise. See you guys, soon !!

Very pleased with my experience at the Coin Connection today — they aren’t just limited to coins, they also have a great combination of interesting antiques and curiosities in their cases. Very nice storefront and a neat tank of tropical fish in there.
We came in to sell some of a Grandparent’s coin collection, I felt that they were very fair and explained the process thoroughly. Would come back anytime.

my experience here was horrible, i came to sell my gold coin, one of the employees said in a very rude way that my coin was fake and is worth nothing and the other guy said it was real but gave me a really bad offer on the coin. theyre all a bunch of sharks that will rip you off, very cocky and arrogant emplyees! i will never go there again!

I have been buying coins with Paul for the last 4 months and he is simply the best coin dealer in LA. I have been investing in PMs for 5 years and he has the best price and inventory of all the PM dealers. I am very happy to recommend Coin Connection and I am going back today to buy more.

The guy Paul who runs the place is indeed very knowledgeable but he may take awhile to warm up to you if he doesn’t think you’re serious. He deals a lot in bulk so this isn’t the place to go with kids or if you just want to look through wheat pennies or buffalo nickels. The place is very crowded with goods everywhere. When I was there you could hardly walk into the place. The hours are also pretty restrictive. Not open in the mornings or on weekends.

The Coin Connection is a serious place for serious collectors. The minute you enter the store you are bombarded with coins boxes of them everywhere, class viewing counters filled with them, little boxes of rare coins stacked high to the ceiling. Paul Wojdak the store owner has been in the business for over 35 years and knows the business inside and out. If you are looking for a rare coin, or selling one, or even just want to find out more information this place is a true gem. He also deals in other rare items like mens timepieces and such. When I was looking for specific watches he was able to use his network to get me what I wanted saving me some serious cash.
