This is a great little gallery in Pasadena. The people that work are super nice and helpful. The art is fun. But I love their gift shop. It’s an unique place to find gifts for those that are hard to shop for. Very quirky and fun!

Stopped in today to see the«Power of Three» exhibit, which was great. Had a long interesting chat with the young woman working the gallery. She was very friendly and enthusiastic about the work. No pretense here. The way a gallery should be. I’m a fan.

Children of all ages should enjoy this charming art gallery and gift shop on a little corner in Old Town Pas. Seems the predominant theme is of animals. all sorts of them. It is reminiscent of the drawing and art you would find in children’s literature. You’ll see whimsical depictions of wild animals such as panda, monkey, tiger in the regular displays and paraphernalia. This month an exhibit features dogs and cats and domestic pets. We saw no dogs playing poker, but there are some quirky pieces. Ten percent of the proceeds benefit the local shelter. The works’ average prices range from a few hundred to a thousand dollars. They quite like their Kitty who is conceptually not a cat but a girl. Flower Pepper had, literally, a Sanrio corner. At back of the gallery room are items such as stationery, books, toys, shirts, on tables and displays. And in the left corner stands a small multi-shelf of Hello Kitty stuff– not much, just a few stuffed toys of her in some costume, and other Sanrio items. HK curator is clearly on the job here. And hello Hello Kitty microwave behind the reception desk. I only have a HK telly, but some day if my microwave goes to sleep permanently, ebay searchity search. Every month the gallery has different exhibit switch-outs and hosts a party each time to promote the art. Sign up and you will be invited to view what’s new, while sampling cupcakes and sipping wine or other beverages. Special thanks to RH for pointing this place out.

Stumbled upon this place while walking around Old Pas — so glad I decided to go in. Lots of interesting artwork. I joined their mailing list and went to one of their Live Art showings today, which was really cool. I definitely plan on going back to future events — I believe they have new exhibits every month or so.

After living in the area for over a year, I finally stepped foot inside this cute little art gallery. The current work is what drew me inside & because the doors were actually open when I walked by. I always peer through the window displays to see what neat stuff they have. Current Artist: Randy Hage Loved his work! Everyone should check him out. If you check-in through your Unilocal App, you will get a coupon to redeem 10% off a purchase(books and artist products). The girl working the night I walked in was also very nice and explained the artwork on display to me and the background in brief of each artist and why they created what they did. All very fascinating.

There are so many things to love in here! But it’s not cluttered, so I don’t feel overwhelmed. My first visit was earlier this summer when an exhibition featuring Randy Hage was going on. I was impressed with the intricate detail presented in his dioramas. And I loved the open feeling of the gallery’s space. Since then, there have been other exhibitions that I’ve seen and appreciated. The selection of art is varied, which actually helps me better understand why I like certain works of art and not others. The gallery’s location is also convenient, located near the center of Old Town Pasadena, but on the edge enough that it doesn’t get swallowed up by all the stores and restaurants. It’s been an especially great oasis during the hot summer. Nothing beats cooling down in a room full of inspirational artwork.

Cute little art gallery/paraphernalia store with a really friendly staff! I went to the opening night of an art gallery. They had free refreshments and cupcakes. It is a great place to hang out after grabbing a bite– maybe at King Taco across the street. The art collection is awesome, and features up and coming living, modern artists. They have a collection that represents today’s society– mainly those who love Japanese and Asian inspired arts. For originals, they are priced quite reasonably. It is also a great way to discover new artists, so you can order prints and such online. They have a small clothing rack with cute dresses and tees with screens of artwork, postcards, and unique books that would make awesome gifts. The staff and owner are great. They really talked about the art to me, and never for a moment talked down to anyone. Many of the staff members are artists, as well. Check out their website to find out about all their opening nights!

Good Unique Arts, Books, Things Ended up buying a crazy looking stuffed animal that you squeeze your worries on to. Some interesting local artists presented, as well as some U.K. items. Store has potential to be great, but it’s definitely worth a look. Location is right across from King Taco, which makes it an easy stop.
