Fat Bird Bakery

I haven’t gotten a cake here since they never got back to me. So this review is based on service. They don’t email back. Even if they’re not available, at least let me know. Don’t leave me hanging and waiting. That’s not how you do business. Won’t be emailing them again …

The Fat Bird cakes taste just as good as they look, and they look amazing! I absolutely loved my custom cake, and it was a huge hit with everyone. I’m looking forward to my next order, and will definitely recommend to others as well.

The girls at Fat Bird totally came through with our Frozen cake this weekend. From beginning to end, they were professional and provided excellent customer service. The cake was beautiful and tasted yummy. I will definitely go back when I need another cake and I will be recommending them… and only them… to friends and family. But, word to the wise, order at least 2 weeks in advance. They are busy busy busy.

I was lucky enough to receive a delicious gift that was made by the Fat Bird Bakery recently and I have to say it was amazing! It tasted absolutely delicious and the presentation was simply beautiful. I asked the person who gave me the gift where they ordered from and now I’ve already booked my own cake order and can’t wait to see what they create!

This review is late in coming, but they made a fabulous Power Rangers cake for my son’s 5^th birthday, I uploaded the photo here somewhere. The girls are fabulous and easy to work with — I described what I wanted over the phone and then sent a picture and the cake I got was perfect. They didn’t give me any hassle about how many people I was feeding– I’ve have bakeries in the past harass me and tell me I won’t have enough and I inevitably wind up with half the cake leftover. They were also considerably less expensive than the other bakery I used to use, with better service and less harassment (the other bakery refused to tint my frosting red). They don’t have a brick and mortar store so they delivered the cake to my house 30 minutes before the party. The girls are super friendly and helpful, and I will be ordering all my cakes from them in the future!

Anytime, any occassion I needed a cake I never think of anybody else but Fat Bird, delicious beautiful cakes, I ordered my daughter 5^th birthday Monster High cake it was a total Hit everybody loved it, my daughter was super happy. Thanks Fat Bird for always making my party cakes a HIT.

Fat Bird Bakery is the BEST! They have come through on EVERY event that I had. They are my number ONE bakery for all cakes, cupcakes, and dessert bars! Give them your ideas and they will SURPRISE and AMAZE you EVERY time!

Beautiful cupcakes and cakes! They made my birthday cake last year and everyone was blown away by the details put into the cake. I will definitely be back for more desserts in the future. Friendly ladies and great service! You just can’t find good people like these two in LA anymore.

Fat Bird Bakery is great! I ordered a cake for my baby shower and they provided me with a wonderful tasty nautical themed cake with matching cookies! To top it off, they set up the cake table! It was lovely. hug.hug. I really enjoyed their service and will not hesitate to hire them for my next event.

On a couple occasions now I’ve had the pleasure of sampling either a cake or cupcake made by the ladies at Fat Bird Bakery, and I am never anything short of blown away by how good it is. Not only does it taste good, but their designs are so creative and fun that you almost would prefer to hold on to them and put them on display (though the urge to eat kicks in pretty quickly). I’m not quite sure what their secret is, but I do know that I haven’t taken a bite out of one of their creations for the last time, that’s for sure.
