Eisenhower Nursing & Convalescent Hospital

My dad has been a patient here for a little over 3 years. The place has undergone so many changes including the staff. The quality of care has declined so much due to staffing issues, lack of communication, and lack of morale. I worked half day today and I was looking forward to being able to visit my dad earlier to take him outside to visit with him for a while, but he was still in bed at 1:20pm! I asked the main nurse in charge if my dad ever got out of bed today and her response was no, because there were only 4 aides/​care takers on the floor today and they are getting him out of bed (which i know wasn’t going to happen anymore). Honestly, it’s been one problem after another for some time now. I think they are trying to take advantage of my mom being out of town for a few weeks. My mom spends so much time with my dad and is always keeping everyone on their toes. Little do they know I don’t keep things to myself much. Next time I visit my dad later in the week and if I see another problem, they WILL hear my frustration. My dad deserves better care and should be moved to a better place soon! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
