I recently remodeled my home in Pasadena and I ordered a custom couch from Cisco. To make a long story short it took 1.5 months longer than it was supposed to. There seems to be quite a gap in communication from the sales staff to production in the factory. Although this was a very frustrating process because I was never given the chance to cancel the order, there was a light at the end of the tunnel and her name was Susie. She is by far the sweetest most genuine and helpful salesperson and designer they have. I highly recommend if you are shopping here look for Susie, she is a cute and very lovely blond who is very eager to help in whatever way possible! Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure from buying from her, but she was extremely helpful and went the extra mile when there was nothing in it for her. She helped us so much in the end when we were trying to resolve the issue and getting clear answers from production. She gave us the truth and genuinely felt bad when other employees gave us attitude as if we were bothering them. The 4 star review is for Susie, had she not been in the picture I would probably given them 3 stars. David the manager is very nice and worked hard to help us too. They do have great sales and they do have great furniture. Just be cautious of expected lead times could and probably will take longer!

Great selection of furniture that embodies a rustic, sophisticated, modern appeal. They had a warehouse sale on the left section of the building and regular priced items on the right. I intended to come in to look for a small/mid-sized coffee table for my studio’s living room. I wasn’t able to find the right look and size I had in mind since the majority was rather large and better suited for a bigger apartment or home. Nonetheless, I definitely know where to look come that time when I need to shop for my house! On another awesome note, my boyfriend stumbled upon an intricately designed, one-of-a-kind, Andrew Martin lamp. It was on sale for 95 bucks and that was an amazing steal considering what it was initially priced at(around $ 595). We even researched online out of curiosity to see if we actually saved and discovered it was was selling for $ 620 — what a GREAT steal indeed!

i have not had good luck at this store. I ordered and item that was delivered from one of their other locations and when I wanted to split the payment half cash and half credit, they said they had no way to to «bring» the cash to the other location if I paid that way. So… if I didn’t want the item then they would have to «bring» it back to the other location. Huh?

The furniture is a unique and eclectic mix of modern and traditional /period pieces, and it’s all very well put together in LA, but what makes Cisco so great is Amanda Overton, their in-house designer. She is not only a consummate professional in every way, but her taste is impeccable and her creativity seemingly boundless. She delivers what she promises, and it always exceeds expectations. My favorite furniture store, ever, anywhere, period.

Beautiful variety to choose from and a wonderful staff to help in every step of the process. Susie was a joy to work with and helped us turn our home into a beautiful place! I will never need to look further for décor or inspiration!

I purchased two chairs from this showroom on approval. I gave them my credit card number and they gave me 24 hours to «try out» the chairs in my house. The chairs were too big, so less than 24 hours later, I returned them. No charge to my card since I returned them. Ten days later, a mysterious charge showed up on my credit card bill for the full amount of the chairs. When I called to ask why the charge had appeared, the sales lady claimed to not even remember the transaction, even though she helped me in the showroom. When I pressed her about why I was charged for the full amount of the chairs, she told me they«were having issues with their credit card machine» and«had to re-run all the bills from that day.» WTF? I didn’t even buy the chairs! I just gave my credit card as a deposit. Very shady. Be careful with giving your credit card info to this company and if you’ve bought anything recently from here using a credit card, you should check to make sure you were not charged twice.

So far I have never custom ordered anything at any of the Cisco Stores but only purchased items that where in stock so I cant speak about their customer service beyond the store visits. Every product I’ve ever gotten from their brand has been amazing. The quality is top notch. So far I have a dining Table with chairs as well as Pillows and a coffee table. I am not somebody who fusses over their stuff and I don’t oil and polish my furniture practically ever, but it all still looks great –almost better-. Both tables and chairs are so solidly build, that I have no doubt that I will not have to buy any new ones for a VERY long time. The other day one of the chairs crashed to the ground from on top of my table(when I was cleaning) and absolutely nothing seemed to have happened to it. Two thumbs up.

We ordered a sofa from their Pasadena showroom on November 25, 2009. 334 days later a completed sofa was delivered to our residence. We expected more when we selected Cisco Brothers for our custom sofa. We’ve put a lot of time and energy into selecting the right piece and the right fabric. We visited your store a number of times, spent a lot of time making the decision and chose Cisco Brothers based on the quality of your products. We originally placed our order with their salesperson, Kira Halter. At that time Kira said the customization of our sofa was«no problem.» We spent time with Kira showing her what we were looking for and trying to get some direction from her on how to make that happen. As you can see from the original sales invoice Kira drafted on November 1st, 2009, very little information of our design intent was relayed to the factory. Having never created a custom piece of furniture before we left the verbal details we explained to Kira up to her to relay to the factory. We offered to have the factory call us if there were any questions and placed a few phone calls during the construction period to make sure everything was clear on our order. Our sofa was delivered on January 25th, 2010, thirty one days past our original estimate of arrival. We immediately noticed quite a bit of discrepancies between what we ordered and what was sitting in our living room: The overall seat height of the sofa was wrong. The structural seat height should have been 2″ taller. There was no pleat in sofa skirt. There was no piping on sofa slip cover. There WAS piping on ALL pillows. The sofa was also delivered incomplete with the additional pillows missing to be delivered at an unspecified later date. As you can clearly see from the attached timeline, our experience in getting this sofa replaced was an absolute nightmare. From the first discussion about the problems with the sofa we had been very clear in stating our expectations and in requesting return phone calls each time. We said that we did not want to have to chase answers and we’ve done nothing but chase. We have never received any information that was not prompted by a phone call from us. We had gone weeks, even months, with no new information on the status of the sofa repairs or an estimate of completion. In the time between receiving the original sofa and it finally being picked up from our residence in March our original fabric was no longer available. This started a lengthy process of selecting new fabric which included multiple times being told that our new selections were either not available or on backorder for an unspecified length of time. I want to be very clear, this is not about their product. This is about the sales representative, store manager, and their customer service system. Per Kira’s February 4th e-mail, this issue has been known to a manager for over a month, yet we saw no action and had no follow up from our salesperson, store manager or factory. We did not get contact with Steve Ashby until March 13th, forty four days after our original sofa was delivered. Steve was very difficult to get a hold of after that and we rarely received a return phone call. We heard a number of excuses from both Steve and Kira. Anywhere from opening a new store in the Bay area to reorganizing your existing showrooms. We found it exhausting that your staff would spend so much time working for future customers and let existing ones hang out to dry. It was not until November 2010 that we met with Crystal Reyes in your factory that we felt like someone was listening to us and actively trying to help us. Today we have a complete sofa. It is not exactly what we ordered back in November and it is not in the fabric we originally requested. We honestly feel that we weren’t important as customers to your firm. We placed over 50 calls, many of them not returned. We took a lot of time off work to meet in your Pasadena showroom multiple times, place numerous phone calls, and travel to your manufacturing facility twice. This one sofa has caused untold problems in our household and our relationship as a family.

Bought a sectional from cisco Home about a year ago. Within 3 weeks the furniture looked terrible. Looked worn and at least 10 years old. The company tried to refill the stuffing twice within 6 months, both times failed to fix the problem. Our couch was the joke of the neighborhood. After moving more than 5 miles away the company refused to help us any further. They strung us along for over 6 months. When we demanded our money back they insisted to allow them to try and fix it again. Do you think anything improved? What a waste of 5 grand! Don’t ever buy anything from Cisco Home, the only thing worse than their furiture is their customer service! Don’t make he same mistake we did.

It was all about Yaya Chou’s Gummi Bear Chandelier, aptly named«Chandelier», that had me in a daze. I didn’t know if I wanted to lick it, gnaw on it, or just revel in all of its glory. Yeah. Cisco Home is the place to be when you reach that special income bracket where you can go to a swankier than swank furniture store and just say, «I’ll take it», without looking at the price tag. The Cisco Home was the host for the«Love and Lounge» art exhibition. With an exception of Yaya Chou’s gummi bear pieces, I found my attention wandering from the art on the wall to the amazing furniture on the floor — not to mention beautiful pottery from artists in Michoacan. Because I am not at that«special income bracket yet I had to check the prices: $ 3,000 for immaculate beds and chaise lounges. $ 1,800 for gorgeous armoires. $ 1600 for MTV CRIBS-worthy side tables. $ 2,000 for this amazing«ravage» lamp that appears to be made from stacks of bleached, petrified wood. $ 2,500 for chic, modern dining tables. This is probably the first and last time I will set foot in this incredible furniture store. I’ll remember the furniture that I saw and try to find their cheaply made cousins at IKEA, West Elm or Z-Gallerie. The LOWDOWN: 1 star for the architecture. 1 star for the unique furniture. 1 star for the various locations in the area. 1 star for the quality of everything. 1 star for hosting an art exhibition with a gummi bear chandelier. Yesss.
