Burger King

Typically I do not normally leave reviews for a fast food joint however they are so fast at this location. Some of the cashiers can be just okay but I wouldn’t mark them down in stars because there is workers here that are super friendly and nice.

Stop at this location. Because was the only thing around to eat. But when ask for BBQ sauce got a container to go and it was dirty

Wowser, I haven’t been to Burger King in years and for some reason I chose this one in particular to get a quick meal and it was not pleasant. Its located in a good part of Pasadena but it looks like it belongs somewhere else. There are gates on the windows, the place is tiny, the people who were sitting there look hood and the food sucks. I heard from a friend its a place where drug deals are a common occurrence. Management needs to step in and make some changes.

If I could give less stars for their customer service I would. This place is the worse fast food chain business I’ve ever been to. The manager here is the most ghetto person I have ever met out here in Pasadena. No self respect or respect for customers. I wish I could write exactly how I feel with their terrible customer service. The manager who claims her name is Annette that didn’t even want to give me her name in the 1^st place humiliates customers instead of helping them. I sent one of my employees to pick up food for the staff and they gave us one order wrong. Yes one order. I asked her to replace it which was a burger that had cheese on it for one that did not have cheese on it and she flat out said that it was against company policy. OK so I didn’t know it’s against company policy to fix an order that was messed up on the companies behalf. It was a $ 2 hamburger and they couldn’t fix that? No wonder I stopped eating fast food. What the manager should do here and I mean Annette is start cleaning up the restaurant where customers eat that looks as filthy as a public gas station bathroom. It is terrible in there with flies inside on the windows and on the tables. I went back to correct an issue for my employee and left there feeling traumatized. Yes it is that bad! I will be taking this issue to Corporate as well. This lady should not even be working there much less consider herself a manager. I looked at her like how did she even get hired here? I was sending my employees here at least two to three times a week here for food that I would purchase for them on their lunch break. With so many other places that are much better in so many other ways I will not be returning here. Not to mention I do have my receipt as well and will be forwarding it over to the Burger King corporate office along with my complaint on this disrespectful lady when all she had to do was replace an easy order which was actually just a hamburger.

Okay, I wouldn’t normally Unilocal a fast food chain, but I stop here usually when we have doc appointments nearby and I have to say that their service is exceptional!!! I would LOVE service like this at a $ 30/​plate restaurant, but that’s usually not the case. My bill here was $ 5.45 for 2 meals and the service was worth $ 100! If I could tip them I would. So stop by and enjoy the good service sometime!

Never again will i go to this BK, there is a homeless shelter down the street, there are dirty people and many with a mental issue, there are people screaming in BK and the management did not tell them anything, the employees are great they will get you anything you need, Oh there was a smashed up fly on the window, they should clean this up a bit more…

Nice place, very very good double whopper. The store was extremely clean. Even I had to go to the bathroom that was super clean too. Happy and smiling staff. Would def recommend to everyone!

I have been to this particular BK several times and each time was slightly different service. Perhaps the shifts differ widely. At morning service, a very rude lady took my order and food was extremely slow to come out. Seemed understaffed. On a different occasion, closer to noon, I was served by a lady who was quick, helpful and friendly. Each time the food came out pretty much the same.
This BK has a refrigerator inside the customer ordering area, which is weird. And then you also see more refrigerators outside. Obviously the space was converted, as it’s really too small to fit a normal BK. So overall, it feels tight and somewhat sloppy in here and service is inconsistent so can’t say its good or bad, just ok.

I don’t know why people gave a bad review for this place based on the people who eat here, not work here. Anyway, I’d like to acknowledge the awesome customer service of this branch. They’re fast in taking and giving out orders. The staff are really friendly too! It’s a small place but most people who come here just take it to go. 5 stars for this Burger King branch!

the worst burger king ever! First of all its interior decoration makes me feal that i’m in south LA not in Pasadena! Second of all, there’s that bald black dude taking orders for drive thru he needs to be well trained for customer service he’s just so rude!

Appears to me the Corporate should intervene in blatant gouging as this franchise does!

I never thought I would write a review about a BK, but the customer service at this location is impeccable so I feel obligated to do so. & I’m not just saying for a fast food restaurant either, the workers here are genuinely nice & have great attitudes. Like the previous commenter, I strongly believe this location gets 5 stars just for customer service alone. I usually use the BK drive thru for lunch when I’m running low on cash. $ 1.30 for 2 tacos, not to shabby. I’m also impressed that the workers here remember who I am and my order every time I visit. & finally I appreciate the fast and efficient drive-​thru service during my 30min lunch. Thank you BK & keep up the good work! :p

I’ve never written a review for a BK before, since you kinda know what to expect at an average fast food chain. But I wanted to give them some recognition since I was so impressed with my visit here. The crewmember who helped me (receipt says Sierra) was super pleasant, even so early in the morning! She even brought out my food for me so I wouldn’t have to wait by the counter, and it was ready before I had even added the cream to my coffee. She even came out awhile later to top off everyone’s coffee in the dining room and check if we were happy with the food (which was fresh and fine, better than most BKs I’ve been to), like a regular restaurant! And this restaurant was very clean (though it was only 7am, so not too much time for customers to trash it yet, I guess). I’m almost never in Pasadena, but if I were I would be back!

Was there for an early grab and go lunch today. Every time I go to this Burger King, the food is hot, my order is right and the customer service is beyond excellent. I really can’t say enough about the service. Day or night, the team is super friendly, greets you with a smile and always a sincere «thank you.»
The customer service alone deserves a 5.

I’m a regular here based on proximity and time they’re open. The place has an odd layout and some sketchy character that hang out there. The food is… well… Burger King food. What are you expecting? Lobster Thermidor or Wagyu steak? It’s burger, bacon and buns. The cool thing about this place is they have not one, but TWO of those kagillion permutation Coke machines. I think if you made a suicide drink of all the choices it literally would kill you.

Went to the Starbucks one block north for coffee and it was crazy crowded. Came here instead. Coffee, breakfast, free wifi, love it. Place is clean, the lady who took my order was friendly and helpful. Did I mention the free wifi?

this is my first time eating where a food prep refrigerator is on the customer side of the cash registers. it’s pretty weird to have someone from the kitchen walk around and open up a glass-​door fridge next to you for a stack of cheese slices while you’re standing in line.
they must have really shoehorned this place in to necessitate a front counter angled and six feet away from the front door. the dining area is walled off from the order counter save for a narrow doorway. it all feels like a little backyard playhouse bk and i don’t know why, the back area looks like it’s big enough to house another one of these.
i hate these newer drink dispensers that pour out 400 flavors of beverages through one spout. i don’t care how anybody says those drinks don’t cross-​contaminate, my coke still smells like dr. pepper.
just a couple of basic burgers today, they were freshly microwaved and heavily condimented. i’ve had worse, though if they count two pickle slices to a burger, i’ve never seen a shirt button-​sized pickle tip count as one of them. cashier was reasonably hospitable in a very superficial way.
not a place you will feel like lingering with a good book, definitely no outdoor seating. the neighborhood has changed a bit since monty’s steakhouse next door closed and now sits empty like an old friend’s house gone vacant, except the old friend’s house probably doesn’t house a massage parlor on the california street side. across the street is huntington hospital, which looms like a shadow of distress and sadness and lends to the edginess that was only exacerbated by the screaming child two tables away.
a 24-​hour subway sandwich shop is also across the street. i keep thinking a bail bondsman’s office should be nearby for some reason.

I was lying in bed watching the Olympics. Felt like I should get off my butt and work out, so got myself into the gym. But then on my way home from my workout, I decided what better time to start my burger challenge. See, it all equals out.
So, I’ve only been to BK about 4? times in my life. But I’m just so curious why BK and McD still do soooo much business when I always think of their meat as thin grayish patties. So, decided that they would be included in my burger challenge.
I will say off the bat, that for $ 6.51 I am INCREDIBLY full. Too full, actually. Then again, I did not need to order the Whopper Meal Deal, but felt like I should order something classic for the challenge, rather than their smallest burger. Also, many of you may know (I didn’t) that it is actually cheaper to order MORE food – yeah, that’s the way the meal deals work. No wonder we are all joining gyms.
I got the Whopper with cheese, which I think comes with a small fry (pretty big though), and a drink – I opted for OJ. Seriously, this meal could feed me for the whole day and I think, if I remember correctly, it had close to a whole day’s calories. I couldn’t finish the fries.
Although I understand, that for the money and the quantity, this is a good deal, I still can’t give the whole experience more than two stars. Not because it wasn’t decent tasting (and the staff at the window were excellent), but because for me eating animals is serious and if it’s not delicious, I don’t need to sacrifice a life nor narrow my arteries.
The burger was brownish and very thin. Forget ordering medium rare here. There’s no inside to be rare. The meat itself was dry, but the full burger wasn’t, due to the condiments, lettuce, and tomato. Decent veggies, although I think In n Out’s are more vibrant (typically meaning higher quality and more vitamins).
I was actually looking forward to some thin, salty, very fried, crispy fries, but they are larger and more potato-​y now. Maybe healthier? But I miss the ones I had there…13 years ago? Obviously, they shouldn’t care at all what I think since I’m clearly not their customer base.
In the end… this is probably my last BK burger, unless I’m stranded and starving… so let’s hope it is.

Drive Thru Only
Nice rainy afternoon and I needed a break from shopping and decided an coca-​cola icee sounded really good.
For some reason or another most if not all Burger King Icee Machines are always down. but not this one. Hit the spot perfectly.

This particular Burger King is very ghetto. You would think it would not be considering: 1. It is in Pasadena and 2. It is right across from the newly renovated Huntington Hospital.
I used the restroom at this place. Let’s say I saw something that probably I didn’t want to see. You have to get a key for them to use the restroom. The restroom was filthy.
Then, after my horrible restroom experience, I placed my order. What I found interesting was their 2 tacos. Jack in the Box’s tacos are way better and less expensive than here. I also ordered a Jr. Whopper. Let’s just say I won’t be coming back to this location. The restaurant in general was dirty and full of graffiti etchings on the tables. I guess Bön Qui Qui must have got up on this joint.
