Went here in October with my girlfriend for our one-year anniversary. Décor: Beautiful. Pictures make it look huge, but it’s a very elegant, cozy, little restaurant with gorgeous wooden fixtures and even a fireplace! Mood lighting is perfect as well. Crowd: Dress semi-formal. Pretty quiet, except for the kitchen which is a bit noisy. Very classy attire, a bit for the older crowd beginning from 18 and up I’d say. Although kids are allowed, you won’t find many kids here. Food: Fantastic to say the least. Girlfriend ordered the Pesto pasta and I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and added mushrooms. Came extremely hot and fresh from the kitchen with broccoli and veggies in the creamy pasta. My girlfriend loved her pasta as well. Portions will fill you UP! Even I, who usually finishes restaurant food at almost anywhere, had food to take home. Ordered Mozzarella Sticks just to taste and they were very hot and fresh as well. Price: Not bad at all. For the exceptional décor and fantastic mood lighting/ambience, fresh and delicious food, you get what you expect/pay for. Very distinguishable from other places around the street, too. Thank you for making our one year anniversary memorable for us, Avanti! The waiter even took our picture for us. Great experience.

Had a great dinner on a Sunday night. Food was good and filling. We had the minestrone soup(good flavor) and the house salad to start, the tuna tartare as another starter(enjoyed this fish immensely), and the chicken tequila pasta(my favorite dish) to finish. My boyfriend ordered the espresso martini — it was good but very sweet. I had a glass of Sangiovese very nice with the meal.

We eight gathered for a Monday lunch. As you step inside, you are directly in front of large windows peering onto the main street, it’s a nice view. The high, beamed ceilings give you an airy expanse to wine and dine. Everyone ordered the lunch special. They start you out with small baskets of very good thin flat bread, crispy style and the little balls of bread that were tasty. A small plate of olio and balsamic vinegar are a nice touch. One of the day’s special was the spicy seafood linguine of which several of us ordered; my comments are below. It arrived looking yummy and good sized. There were plenty of average sized shrimp and baby squids that tasted good. The thin linguine was ok if a bit thin on taste, the sauce had bits of tomato’s, it tasted okay. Somehow the sauce looked great but tasted bland. That I pulled an 8 inch piece of hair from my food is forgivable. We split two large green salads of spring mix; each plate was fresh and had four slices of a large tomato, with about 8 pieces of Greek olives. Very good. The coffee was strong and good; I had to ask for refills for both coffee and water. Customer service: warm and they try hard to please. Each lunch special was about $ 17.99. I didn’t note the salad prices, but each person paid $ 27.00. Overall, kinda spendy for what you get. I would try this place again. Décor: white table cloth and comfy chairs. Parking: fine.

Came here for our two year anniversary and the ambiance is perfect if you want a romantic night out. The service was great! I’d mention the servers names but they were both very nice and attentive. Will definitely come back!(Dish pictured is grilled chicken linguine and the drink is a peach Bellini)

Slow service. Pizzas are exellent. Other dishes are okay. Great price and décor. 3 star for substandard service.

3 of just ate here tonight and I have to say all of our food was delicious! Every single item we ordered. The salads, the entrée, the garlic bread/rolls and the desert-all excellent. The wait staff was very nice, always smiling. The décor is nice. The only thing I would change is the noise level. It’s pretty hard to talk in a normal tone. You have to raise your voice while you are talking so that your table mates can hear you. Aside from that-wonderful!

Just went to this restaurant again tonight for the second time. First, the décor and ambiance are really nice and the staff is excellent and the owner quite welcoming. The menu is very affordable: great pizzas, pastas, and salads and more. And the portion of wine is quite generous, which was especially nice. We didn’t sit at the bar, but it’s really beautiful and looks like a nice place to go for people who aren’t looking to sit down at a table. We will definitely come here again.

We had our company Christmas dinner at Avanti. It was a beautiful atmosphere! Elegant and relaxing. I had the seafood pasta. It was almost as good as my grandfather’s recipe. It took me back! I had a taste of the grilled salmon. It was a nice cut, thick and juicy. It was flavorful, topped with capers. The tiramisu, decadent. And paired with a cappuccino, the best! I have to come back with my husband.

The food is great. The price is okay for that neighborhood. I wish there is a tomato based seafood pasta but it’s only cream base. I remember that the old Chinese restaurant was there before and they have done a major remodel. I think they have done great job.

First off, the ambiance was amazingly beautiful. It felt like walking into a super expensive restaurant(but prices were very affordable!). Loved the décor, the chandeliers, and there was even a fireplace in the back. Went on a Friday night with a big party and we had no problem with our reservation. We we seated and the waiter were very attentive and always checked on us and asked if we needed anything. They were all very friendly! OMG then the most delicious garlic bread rolls came. We could not stop eating them. And I quote my friend, «these are dangerous!» The rolls came with a soft flat bread which was good too. Drinks were amazing– they had a nice variety of wine and cocktails. I got the Nutella Martini and it tasted exactly like drinking hazelnut chocolate! y The table everything from pasta to calzones, to pizza, to salad and everyone said they enjoyed their food. One person commented, that although the sauce looks heavy, it’s actually very light and the dish is flavorful. I ordered the Chicken Tequila Fettuccine and it was very flavorful with peppers and chicken, with the pasta cooked al dente. It was my birthday so they brought me Tiramisu with a huge firecracker candle just like in the Unilocal pictures! The Tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had, best I ever had(in the words of Drake). There’s a parking lot in the back, and lots of street parking if the lot is full by the way. Overall, great feel, great food, great drinks, great dessert, great service. Will be back!

The food is very good but over priced for the portions I will post pics of what I received and what I payed Although I did order from door dash and I understand I had to pay delivery and tax and tip I still feel that I got very little portions for what I payed for specifically for the tiramisu and fried mushrooms and zucchini there were only 3 zucchini sticks in the box and I payed $ 9.50 My bill came out to close to $ 50 for only 3 items that’s not cool

I had lunch today at Avanti and was very happy with their excellent service and delicious food. The complimentary bread was very tasty and very enjoyable. I had their house salad and my main entrée was Basil Chicken Spaghetti. The chicken was very salty so this would be my only complaint but besides that everything was delicious. My brother ordered seafood spaghetti which was really good. Our dessert was house made Tiramisu which was the best I ever had so far. I was very pleased with our lunch and I will be back soon. Great service and beautiful restaurant!

Rude service from the start. Reservations for 2 weren’t honored with another couple being seated ahead of us. Extremely long wait for food. Cold stale bread(although garlic knots were okay… although still cold). The menu is wrong about pasta being«prepared before your eyes» with no view of this and no tableside presentation(I thought they’d at least do a flourish of olive oil at the table given their wording). Owner came over and repeatedly said that there was obviously no way to see the pasta being made, that he didn’t mean what he typed on the menu, and was surprised we expected to see the pasta being made. Sigh. Addendum: After the dinner, I had some stomach distress. Worried that the bread pudding(although tasting decent) was made from the leftover bread from the tables.

Last night was the second time I have been to this restaurant and while I love the décor of the place, I feel as if the layout is just super awkward. Our reservation was for 6:15pm and the restaurant was packed! We were a party of 6 and were crammed into a table for 4 with a small extension on it. It just wasn’t comfortable. Anyway, moving on. I had brought a bottle of wine with me and the corkage was $ 10 which I feel is very reasonable. I would have appreciated a wine bucket of ice though since it was white wine. We ordered and was given two baskets of bread. Their garlic knots are great! The rest of the flat bread was flavorless and too crispy and thin to dip into the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I ordered the Di Mare– angel hair pasta with clams and jumbo shrimp. The shrimp was great, however the the clams were overcooked, so I was a bit disappointed. Over our 90 minute dinner, the server came by once and asked if we were okay. The busboy was excellent though and refilled our water glasses and cleared the table in a timely manner. I really wish I could give this place an 5-star review, especially because it’s in such a great location from where I live, but due to the so-so service and sub par food, I just can’t. Parking: the lot is extremely small. In my two times there, I have not had the luck of finding a spot in the lot. Luckily there is parking available on the small side street.

Service is great and pizzas are delightful. I have not visited during dinner hours but I look forward to trying their steaks. All the veggie dishes are cooked To perfection and very fresh!

Okay this place really deserved 4 stars but I just couldn’t give it to them due to the experience I received with — not the waiters or staff — but by the people who I believe were the owners. I was craving Italian — sweet boyfriend found this place and it looked like a super nice place — we were also hoping it wouldn’t be super busy since it was a day after Valentines. We parked on the street and walked there since they didn’t have a parking lot. There was only one couple before us but we stood there a while before an old man(mr. owner, I presume) acknowledged us and told us to have a seat and wait. We sat on a bench near the restroom and talked and in the mean time I noticed an older lady(mrs. owner, I presume) was at the register doing her thing — looked up at us — didn’t even smile or greet us or anything — the other couple gets their table and we wait another 10 minutes and my boyfriend said lets sit in view of the older man cause I think he forgot about us — and load and behold he did — he looked at us and said table for two? like we just walked in… I was like seriously… the wife didn’t even say anything either and she knew we were waiting for a table that whole time. Well besides the not so good service from those two… our actual waiter was super great — friendly, apologetic for the long wait for our food — cause they had taken a huge party order just right before us —, and funny. The food was great as well. I ordered the Pesto Pasta Fettuccine with Shrimp and it was really good — creamy tasty pesto with big pieces of succulent shrimps. My boyfriend had the Prosciutto Pizza and it was pretty good though a little too much onions for me. We also ordered a side of Grilled Asparagus and for $ 4 I guess it’s the reason why it was a very small serving but it was still good. We topped off a delicious savory meal with an equally delicious sweet dessert — the White Chocolate Amore — Vanilla Ice Cream with a White Chocolate shell and is shaped like a heart — it’s as cute as it is yummy! Overall I felt like the food and the service from our waiter was great — the prices for the entrees and pizzas were pretty fair too — I just couldn’t understand why the owner/managers weren’t so friendly and welcoming to their own restaurant.

I just had my birthday dinner at Avanti with 35 guests and we all had a great time! Bobby was really helpful and super accommodating! With 35 guests, we took up almost half of the beautiful restaurant. The waiters were very understanding and were able to get everyone’s dish out in an expedited manner. I really loved the modern décor, the beautiful chandeliers and the open kitchen. What a great reuse of an old building. The food was fantastic. I had the Lasagna which was superb and my husband had the Angel Hair with Shrimp which was also really good. We also had a good amount of the Sangria which was strong but very flavorful. For dessert, I was presented a slice of Cheesecake with a giant sparkler in it, I love fireworks so this was a great added bonus to the experience. We will definitely be coming back for date nights in the future to enjoy more of their great food. Parking is available in the back but it might be a little tight so if you can find street parking take it!
