Dr. Wirtshafter was recommended to me by my PCP, so of course I chose to go to her office. I had to wait a month for an appointment, but that isn’t uncommon for ENT’s. When I went in for my appointment the staff was very rude and dismissive. My appointment was at 10 am. I waited over an hour without a word from the staff. In the meantime her 11 am patient came, and was also waiting. I finally told the receptionist I was leaving. She told me that it would ‘just be another 15 minutes.’ I refused, and then she asked me if I wanted to reschedule. Not a chance. I immediately called my PCP, so they wouldn’t send anyone else there.
