We have used Ehrlich Pest Control for a few years. We have the annual service contract; which we are very happy with. Our technician, Carlos P., is always punctual, attentive, conscientious and he really takes the time to explain what is going on, and how he is fixing it. He is aware we have pets and young children and uses the least toxic applications possible. Whenever we see a pest or critter we call and Carlos, or another technician, come ASAP. We have been very happy with our service and will continue to use and recommend Ehrlich.

This is not the company for you. Company has a VERY high employee turnover rate and ONLY hires people who are new to the industry. If an applicant has ANY pest control training they will move on to the next person. The new to the industry technician will endure only 6 weeks of training on a computer and ride along before being sent out on there own to treat your home or place of business. The computer programs are ok for the basics BUT don’t reflect how it really is in the field. On the new technician ride along they have poorly trained technicians who talk about sports, women, poker, or just don’t talk at all. Yeah they will answer a question from time to time if directly asked but otherwise they don’t get what they need on the ride along to know what to do in many situations. The company says it is mandatory for all technicians to pass the Purdue University Urban IPM course but many times technicians allow the year due date to pass without any repercussions. The district manager has NO experience in pest control. He ran a bunch of BP gas stations for many years before he landed in the Ehrlich district manager position. Hes a bean counter for a simple explanation. He pinches every penny even at the expense of his employees being yelled at by a customer because they don’t have the proper equipment to get the job done. His and his Operations manager’s bonuses rely on the end of the year money count. The district manager doesn’t just run his 8 technicians… he also runs Ambius who is a sister company. Ambius is not a pest control company and is a company that supply plants to businesses and in the winter decorates businesses for Christmas. He focuses on that company mainly. This company prides itself on the fact that all the way in the year 2000, in «Pest Technology Magazine», it was recognized as «Americas Finest Pest Control Company»…Well my friends, This company has taking a severe plunge in the last 15 years and its only getting worse. Company may be too big to fail but it is defiantly not one of the best. There are many small local guys who are better than this giant hot mess of a company.
P.S– Company wide they got rid of most local CSR’s. If you call in you Might or might not get one in your area let alone your state. Many times you are connected to whoever isn’t on the phone at the moment through out all of the lower 48 states… Employees are now responsible in not only focusing on taking there time with whatever pest issue you have but also scheduling there route and selling equipment. Problem with that is all technicians are incentive based and so in order to do all of that they have to race through an account doing the minimum so they can do all the other stuff the company puts on their shoulders.
