Applebee’s

The worst!!! Do yourself a favor. STAY AWAY!!! Service was horrible. Drinks were watered down and the staff couldn’t get a burger right to save their lives. Meals for four came out at different times and cold at best. I could understand if it was a busy night but we’re talking New Year Eve at 5 pm. It was dead in the place. Manager was extremely apologetic but the damage was done. Never again

I was visiting New Jersey this weekend and decided to check out Applebee’s last night for their late night happy. My two friends and I sat at the bar, and when I ordered a beer the bartender checked my ID (which is completely normal, I look pretty young). So I gave her my DC driver’s license, and she said, sorry we can’t accept this, it had to be a United States ID. So at first I thought she thought it was a foreign license so I said, oh it’s a DC license, it is American. But then she explained that Applebee’s only accepts licenses from one of the 50 U.S. States, or a U.S. Passport. I don’t know if this was just her being ignorant, this Applebee’s location, or all Applebee’s in general, but Washington DC is the capital of the United States, so I don’t know how much more American you can get.
Well, needless to say, the bartender was extremely nice, and I really enjoyed my chocolate milkshake and nachos. Just don’t venture to this Applebee’s if you’re from DC.

Food isn’t that great. The desserts are pretty good though. I really loved half-​prized appetizers! Great place to hang out with friends! It feels a bit sticky there though.

Very convenient location. The service for lunch was slow as if the place were packed and it was not. I had the signature sandwich and signature honey chicken mac n cheese for lunch. The strawberry and lime moonshine was an acquired taste but once you get past the lime taste, it is really refreshing and enjoyable.

Recommendations:
½ price appetizers: Nachos, quesadilla, bone or boneless chicken.
Late night dining: This is one of the busiest Applebee’s that I have been to. Later in the week and on the weekends, it seems that the place is always crowded. There is a very festive ambiance in a bustling restaurant. Despite the weekday and weekend crowds, there are usually tables available (sometimes, a very short wait).
½ price appetizers start at 10PM. The flavors change slightly from year to year, but the theme of food is constant. Once in a while, Applebee’s introduces a new appetizer.
This is a great alternative to a 24-​hour diner for late night, sit-​down dining.

I was there this evening with a couple friends. it was the typical Applebees experience. nothing wrong with this visit at all. the waitress was nice and very quick with our order. the food was good and the prices were just right.

Was pleasantly surprised. As an Australian travelling, I have never been to Applebee’s before and the service was exceptional. There was a wide range of menu items available and it all tasted delicious.
The pick of the night was definitely the cookie sundae. Although be wary, it is huge. We got 2 desserts between 4 people and left half of them on the plate!

Nice ambience exactly what you expect from apple bees not great but can’t complain too much

The local favorite. But not my favorite amongst places equal to this.
But they do know how to rock some wings. Came tonight for wings only. And at 10:30p the place is so crowded. Guess others had the same late night idea.
And, surprised that it is not the local youngsters tonight. Family and date night it seems.

Even by Applebee’s standards, this place is awful. The food is overly peppered, and the service is just plain lousy. Yuck!

IDK if it’s cause i go here so much but this place deserves a much better rating the people who work here for the most part are the best one of the only places where I know people by their names i know stuff about who they are cause they are so friendly great place for an excellent price

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Not to mention affordable; they have a killer food/​drink happy hour past 10pm. I’m counting 19 beers on tap and they’re all ice cold!

Well, you might want to come here.
Food flavour, prices, services, beer selection, ambience and parking — all decent. The recipes here have a long standing reputation to satisfy most tastebuds. I’d easily take Applebee’s over Ruby Tuesday (which is over-​priced and plain awful food).
Here they have calorie concious meals of less than 600 calories. For a person that dines out EVERY EVENING, this matters. Tastes pretty good and easy on the budget.

This bees is just like every other Applebees but I feel the employees care just a bit more about customer satisfaction. Always attentive, always around the table for requests and especially when you want to get the check! Honestly one time I left my iPhone right at the bar during happy hour, left and 40 minutes later noticed. When I called them a nice lady remembered my name and said she had it all nice and safe for me to pick it up! 4 stars!

Where do I start? Was greeted at the door, sat down at a bar table of our choosing and was waited on quickly. –Awesome right? It went down hill from then on. We were being indecisive of what to order and were intrigued by the new items on the menu (of course it was a «new» menu). Questioned how much meat came with the sirloin over spinach meal. We were informed that it came with 4oz of sirloin. To our surprise, the waitress informed us that for $ 3 you could add 4oz and for $ 5 you could add 7oz! My associate and I were exited about the affordable add-​on price and we both added extra steak to our orders. (4oz and 7oz respectively). We also ordered spinach artichoke dip. The app came quickly and tasted good as always. After about 20 minutes we both received our steaks. Mine seemed like 8oz and my associate’s seemed about 9oz (3 short) — what ever, it tasted good. We both devoured our meals in about 8 minutes. Yes, it tasted good and I enjoyed it. However… my glass of water was empty and was on the edge of the table after about 5 minutes of receiving it. So it was about an hour before she noticed it. After we finished eating it was another 20 before she asked if we needed anything. YES A WATER ABOUT AN HOUR AGO. she got us our waters and then took another 15 to give us the check. The steak add-​ons were double the price we were originally told that they were. She apologized and said she’d lower it to what she had told us… she lowered it about 25%?! At this point I was frustrated, paid and left. 3 hours to eat, die of thirst, and get overcharged twice

I come here sometimes to kill an hour while I wait for daughter’s class to be over. Bar tender is talented and consistent. Find the drinks to be of good proportions and consistent in quality. I am in the rocks kinda guy but when I did have mixed drinks, they were good. Plenty of room at the bar and love the abundance of TVs. If they would play European soccer on one at least without request — they will earn my 5 stars. The restaurant potion is always buzzing with people and they seem to consistently pack crowds regardless of the day if the week. Something to be said about that. Food is the typical franchise food — consistent and decent. Give it a try

The food is awesome and comes out looking just like the pictures in the menu. I highly recommend if you are ever in Parsippany make sure you stop by Applebee’s.

The food is always well prepared and quite tasty. The location is very convenient for commuters as well as locals. The staff is outstanding and always warm and welcoming. Highly recommended if you live or work in the area.

So I thought I give this place a try for lunch and I was so disappointed! I had the half salad half sandwich. The chicken that was on the salad was still pink and super strong dressing! I order the strawberry lemonade quencher and it taste it like pine sol. Manager came by my table and apologize for the meal and offered to give me something else. But at that point I just wanted my friends to finish and leave!

Just regular food. It’s nice that there’s always a decent sized crowd. Drinks are decent with a few beers on tap, some bottled, and a variety of sangria and margaritas. Bartenders were nice.
Bathroom was clean.
Parking was no issue.
