I continued my pizza tour of Parma last weekend. It is becoming a ritual. Leonardo’s is nothing too special. The oven is a conveyor belt style pizza oven. The crust is on the thin side, tastes like the hand tossed style offered by Pizza Hut. I know this because an ex used to work at Pizza Hut and enjoyed that style. I also know that P’zone sounds like a street word for genitalia. I had issue with the crust. It was dense, but thin. The sauce was average. Pepperoni was of the usual pre-sliced variety. The sausage was good. It was a large, 3 topping for $ 10. Not a bad deal to serve as 3 – 4 meals and prevent a possible hangover. I am not mad that I tried it. Would much rather go to Napoleon’s across the street though.
