Good and tasty food. Since this is buffet style, do not except for the waiter to come sit you down. The place is one of the best in the surrounding area for Indian food buffet. The price of $ 11 for dinner buffet is good too. I love this place and come here often. I always recommend this place to my friends and family and they love it too.

Went here twice with my mother. Once for dinner, and once for lunch. We both really enjoyed the food. I’m vegetarian and there was a few things I could eat. I wish there was more, but I’m not complaining. My mother really enjoyed the gulab jamun. Before I ever came here, the owner came to my job and gave us all free naan bread! That actually made me stop in because most places don’t do that and it was really nice. I live close by and have been driving by the place for years. I liked that the parking lot was easy to navigate and there was plenty of parking. I will be returning here because of that, the good food, and I’m comfortable here. Not all restaurants have that vibe.

Went for dinner buffet on Thursday which they call it as biryani night buffet costs around $ 12 which is of no worth. Dint feel food were fresh, meat were hard, less varieties, nothing special in biryani too, it wasn’t warm, not filling up food on time. I don’t recommend and am not going again.

First visit. No one was there when we came in. Seen a guest eating and we sat ourselves down. Waited for a waiter. Didn’t know what was going on for about 5−10mins. We asked the other guest. And they said it was buffet style! Go up and grab! We did that. As we grabbed some food and sat back down. Then the waiter came out with water! It’s getting two stars only cause their food was great! Not to spicy for those that can take the curry. The curry powder can be found on the side of needed. Eat all you want! The bill came out supper cheap! I enjoyed all the lamb as possible! And don’t forget you can have them make some naans which is include in your buffet pricing!

Great place! I got the buffet and everything was tasty. The paneer and tandoori were so good among other thing. This is my new Indian lunch spot for sure.

Who makes the best Indian food, you ask? Whomever serves the yummiest, most plentiful buffet, says I. …and Rajpoot’s buffet of awesomeness is offered on both Fri AND Sat! Dee-lish. Plenty of variety. Best of all, the price! Note: Sat buffet features more items, and costs a few bucks more. Not a fancy place, but it’s clean, comfortable, and great for families. There might be better Indian food nearby, but you won’t find a better value anywhere. Rajpoot Buffet = Awesome.

Best Indian food I’ve ever tasted. Great service. Nice friendly service. And great portions of food. For your money.

Me and my girlfriend tried this place out for the first time and we absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it’s in a weird spot in the back of the plaza but the décor inside is welcoming and the dinner buffet was outstanding for just $ 11?! Will be back for sure

Been here a few times always good and decent menu, really good food. I usually get the buffet and am never disappointed. The tandoori is really good, make sure you ask for fresh if you think it’s been sitting on the buffet a bit. You won’t be disappointed. Food is hot too, great naan…

Had a solid experience here a few weeks ago. The food had good flavor– a little«generic» but that’s not a complaint, sometimes you want something that tastes familiar. I just wouldn’t be able to distinguish Rajpoot food from another restaurant in a lineup or blind taste test ;) And that’s okay– we came for the lunch buffet and it did the job. We left satisfied and happy with the selection and the flavor of the things we ate. We came for lunch when the place just opened for the day– so if the food wasn’t fresh there would be some big problems. The ambiance could use a little sprucing up but again, you don’t have to be so fussy about every darn meal you eat. This was good enough, perhaps more than good enough, and I have little complaints. I’d even come back!

About $ 11 per person for an Indian buffet? Sounds great, but in reality is only okay. Yes, you can’t beat the price. However, I can’t say the food is all that fresh. Everything was vaguely warm and not being re-filled(and I went on a Friday night!). I did enjoy the chicken tikka masala, and I was very happy that you are served fresh nann instead of picking some up at the buffet. I just wish there wasn’t a mix of stale and possibly fresh food here. Maybe it’s better to come in around lunchtime? I don’t know. I would be willing to try this place again though.

Don’t be intimidated by the location, this is a Great standard buffet option for all craving tasty Indian meat and veggie dishes. I have had Indian all over NJ from Maplewood to Middletown and Ocean township and of course little India on oak tree rd. this food stands up to them all. I especially love when I walk in and it’s mainly Indian nationalities Eating. Tonight there was a large 20 + party of guests which made the food even fresher since there was a lot of eating going on. For $ 11 including Naan bread it’s a steal. On the menu tonight were salad options with all the sides, some great crispy crunchy puffs I’ve never had before, samosa, Chana masala, chicken tikka masala, tandoor chicken, curry chicken, delicious goat, saag, dal, paneer, mixed veggie rice and standard long grain rice. Also veggie medley I’ve seen before but can’t remember the name. Good place, authentic. Not great location but price is extremely Reasonable for the buffet they present.

This place was awesome, if I could give 4.5 I would. The décor was abysmal, and the place was a hole in the wall, but the food more than made up for it. The lunch buffet was only $ 8 on a weekday, and the food was more than worth the price. It was spicy, so if you can’t handle curry don’t bother, but it wasn’t so spicy it killed my pallet. Awesome place, totally worth a stop by if you’re in the area.

Went here the other day with my cousin for dinner. Prices are great and the staff was so friendly and helpful. He came over and answered all our questions about the buffet and explained each dish. The food was delicious.

I only took away 1 star for ambiance– the food is great! Always a buffet, always fresh! The buffet varies daily, and Wednesday is my favorite night. Do yourself a favor– ignore the facilities and go for the food. You will not find anything better for the price in Middlesex County.

This has been my go to Indian restaurant for about ¾ years now. Don’t let the outside fool you. The buffet is always awesome, I haven’t had better Chicken Tikka Masala or Naan anywhere else. And I’ve tried out quite a few spots in the Sayreville/Edison area. The price can’t be beat either. Loses a star for the service, sometimes they are a bit slow with refilling the buffet items or bringing the check. It’s also in a bit of a shady spot, but everything else is 100% worth it.

Small restaurant. Buffet and a la carte. Parking is sufficient, but awkward. We’ve eaten here once, but get food for takeout quite often. Taste has been great, and meets up with the quality of food we used to drive to iselin/Edison for. People are nice. Food is great. One star reduction for atmosphere. Its nothing special.

I come here occasionally when visiting friends in the Sayerville area, and we want to feel bad about ourselves from gorging at a buffet. First off, the parking lot for this restaurant is kind of an awkward layout. The front of the restaurant is normal, with plenty of spaces to park, but there’s this little tiny strip of asphalt that connects it to the main street /lot, barely big enough for one car to fit through at a time, in one direction. This normally wouldn’t be a problem, but there’s always some moron who’s hitting the local QuikChek and decides to PARK in the area that has 5,000 yellow lines saying«Don’t park here!», making it near impossible to get to the adjacent(restaurant) parking lot. Don’t make the mistake of going to the right, either — there’s a huge curb there that will likely damage your car if you decide to go hurtling over it. The restaurant is nice enough inside, fairly standard to most others. There’s tables, a buffet, some traditional pictures /artwork, etc. The buffet is fairly large with a ton of vegetarian and meat dishes, and enough variety for everyone to enjoy something. Best yet, the price is one of the cheapest I’ve seen, and only $ 10.95 for dinner. The food is OK, although I found the quality lacking on some dishes — some had WAY too many spices put into it and were unbalanced, others were kinda bland, and a few were downright tasty. Not really my favorite buffet, but it’ll do in a pinch. In the times I’ve been here, the service has been mediocre. Usually they’re pretty good on keeping your water glasses filled, but if you want to order a lassi or want to get the check to leave — they’re nowhere to be found. The last 3 times I’ve eaten here, I ended up having to flag down someone after finishing our meal and waiting for ~15+ minutes with empty plates, ready to leave. It’s nice of them not to want people to feel rushed, but I’d still like to be able to just pay and leave. Not a bad Indian place, but not my favorite either.
