I have no idea what makes this particular location so darn good, but it is! I have never had a bad chicken experience here. The staff is very professional most of the times. some kids may be not, but the food is just awesome.
I used to frequent the one by security blvd, but they are not as good any more.
The last few times I went there, the chicken tasted old/​over cooked like it had been sitting out under the heating lamps too long. I always get spicy white meat, and if it is dry, I will have a fit. Maybe the 2016 E– Joppa rd parkville Md location gets more traffic, so their chicken is always fresher.
I crave popeyes like a cigarette now. LOL

They are always out of something — spicy tenders, sauces, etc. I understand that things like that can happen, but once they were out of the sauce I ordered, so what does the employee do? He didn’t inform me, and just gave me my tenders with no sauce. Luckily I checked before driving away and went back to get another sauce.

I was in there around 4:30 pm, there were 10 workers there. Only 3 customers including myself, but 1 cash reg open. One kid on the sinking, washing, the rest of 8 workers were joking, laughing, chasing each others around. I was there waited for about 15 mins for my combo meal, not even a huge order for pete sake. Why hire so many useless workers not doing their job?

Totally incompetent workers. I usually prefer popeyes in other states vs other chain restaurants, but this one lets me down every time. They ALWAYS forget the sauces, silverware, they even forget to give you half your food. And these people want $ 15 per hour??? Go to school and get a real job!

How can you knock Popeyes??? You know exactly what you are going to get and they serve you what you expect!
The young gal that served me was friendly and helpful… and was interested in making my order complete. The food was perfect and hot — another happy Popeyes customer and at this location. And to top it all, they had a manager special that couldn’t be beat.

Made the mistake of ordering chicken strips instead of just going fried chicken. They’re known for their fried chicken but the strips are nothing like them tasting like dry old processed meat drowned in crispy batter as if to hide the terrible meat.
