Who doesn’t like fresh seafood? Recently ordered a bushel of delicious crabs from these guys. Though the what seemed like forever, the proof was in the delicious flavor of the crab. In addition to the crabs, I got 2 dozen of shucked little neck clams. The shucking price was kind of steep(1.50) being that the clams themselves were only 5.95 a dozen. There should be some kinda percentage off if you’re already spending 100+ with these good folks. Other than that, the staff was helpful. The facilities were clean. Will utilize again.

I have gotten crabs from Dons in the past and they were just ok… I won a raffle through a volunteer organization, which consists of 3 dozen large male crabs and 2 lb of steamed shrimp. I called on a Saturday just to make sure it was alright to use the certificate that Sunday. I was told«sure». Out of those 3 dozen crabs, I kid you not, maybe 5 were eatable. My guests could not believe how bad these crabs were. They were completely empty inside and had a fowl odor. Because I did not pay for them, I considered not saying anything to Don’s Crabs, but after considerable thought, I called on Monday and spoke to a very understanding woman who was acting as the assistant manager. She sympathized with me and asks that I call back when the manager got in at 1:00. I gave her my name and phone number and suggested that she have the manager call me. Well… I never heard a word and here it is, a week later. May I add that the manager was there when I got the crabs and was not a very customer oriented person. You may wonder if he got the message and I will tell you he more than likely did because the assistant manager was very concerned about the situation. I have to wonder if these bad crabs were not given to me on purpose because no one actually paid for them since they were a donation.

Well, I ordered a bushel of crabs last week and I was disappointed. Just like Pappas I had a bunch of lights mixed in. When their sorting there are ways to tell if crabs are light: color of the belly, softness of the shell or pinching the back fin. So inexcusable to pay for a bushel of crabs($ 180) and have a bunch of lights mixed in. Not a good way to woo a customer for repeat business. It is so hard to find credible crab shops who care about quality for their customers.

Love this place! The crabs are a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Went there recently and ordered a crab cake sandwich(which came with fries and coleslaw) and some butterfly shrimp and it was excellent. The crab cake sandwich is huge and very tasty. The only downside is that they don’t have a broiler so the crab cakes are fried but they’re not greasy so it’s not a problem. Even though there’s usually a line, the staff is efficient and the customer service is on point. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work Don’s Crab!

I think this is a good place to order crabs. Dons has never dissapointed me with there crabs. A little pricy but other then that there great. I also think one of the staff needs to change his attitude. He seems vert snotty and I heard him making fun of a customer that just walked out the door which I don’t think is very appropriate. If you don’t like a customer don’t make fun of them to your other co workers keep it to yourself. I think it’s unprofessional to do that since there paying you for your service. I love the crabs from Don’s but don’t like one of the workers. Other then that there a great place to get crabs and seafood from.

This place is a good source for carry-out crabs. It is the only place my dad gets his crabs to-go and as a result, I’ve eaten dozens of Don’s crabs. Don’s does have good crabs at reasonable prices. This summer I’ve enjoyed Don’s a couple of times and both times we went cheap and bought mediums. They were full of meat and moderately covered in Old Bay. When it comes to crabs, alot of people are loyal to a particular place and Don’s is a good choice.
