Surprisingly excellent fried chicken, YUM! Tho the live chickens in the parking lot should consider flying south for the winter. Bathrooms clean too! Quick and easy stop right on the main strip.

This is actually for the one in Exmore VA. As per normal it is a gas station/​convenience store/​eatery. There are a few booths to sit similar to fast food chains. I ordered a couple of pieces of chicken on the go while travelling. The ordering is done by a touchscreen. HANDS DOWN THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I have ever had!!!

better than the Typical gas station convenience store kinda like WaWa up in Jersey/​Philly but with important exceptions including a big emphasis on fried chicken, sale of lottery tickets and beer, and an array of prominently displayed «gentlemen’s publications». one orders chicken or sandwiches at a touchpad, convenient. staff seemed friendly. they have quite a few boothes to sit at. the fried chicken smells really good and it tastes as good as it smells. quite fresh I imagine considering the Purdue chicken plant is right next door and another chicken facility is right up the road in the other direction. good selection of coffee varieties. Restrooms were clean on my visit.

Restrooms were disgusting looks like they are rarely clean. The 1 pint whole milk I was buying for my 20 month old was out of date by more than a month. The cashier had to go in back to find one that had a best sold by date of May 23. This has been the worst Royal Farms I have been.
