Parkland International Music Academy

Parkland International Music Academy is a WONDERFUL place. Camilo Mejia, the music director, is amazing with kids! His knowledge of music and technique is stellar, and he has a special way of bringing the fun into every lesson! This is a family owned studio, and the owners, Karina and Diego, are so passionate about music and education! It shines through in everything they do! There are so many opportunities for fun at PIMA. There is a band program, where the kids play and sing live! The band is incredibly talented… it’s simply amazing what they do! Then, of course, there are the individual lessons, which are phenomenal. They also host a wonderful summer camp. The best thing is the confidence they instill within the children. I’ve loved watching my son perform at their many concerts. They’ve coached him to not only play, but to be confident in performing, which is spectacular. We are so happy to call PIMA home! :)

My 9-​year old son expressed an interest in drums & has been wanting to play for years now. We finally agreed & bought him a set of drums under the condition that he took lessons. After trying a few other places, we found Parkland Music Academy. The staff was extremely friendly & our instructor Marco is very knowledgeable. What a great instructor! He comes to class prepared & ready for my son. He gives his full attention for the entire 30 minutes & gives him homework to practice during the week. My son has learned so much in such a short time & looks forward to his weekly lesson.

Really just went in here to look around and acquired about some lessons. Very friendly staff. Show’d me all around and we talked for some time. There was a band practicing on their stage. Was fun to watch and listen. Very nice store. Would highly recommend it for music lessons.
