Cleveland Clinic Florida – Parkland

Oh boy, get to go to the Doctor’s office! Can’t wait! Okay, probably not your thought (unless you are a physician) and I assure you, not my thought either.
Here is the deal. I liked this place from the start. For my first visit, everything went very smoothly. It helped that I spent about 20 minutes on the phone the day before with the Cleveland Clinic Appointment folks giving them my personal and insurance info. Located in a small shopping area just west of the Sawgrass and just off of University (way easy to get to), there is plenty of parking. The facility felt more like I was visiting my family doctor and not like I was visiting a large medical organization. The front desk staff were professional.
I almost never mention names in my reviews. But have to say, Nurse Tiffany and Dr. Meier-​Davila were top-​notch professionals. Both were good listeners and had positive communication skills. They solicited information in a manner that made me feel comfortable about being candid.
Would have given 5-​stars, but they do not do lab work onsite. However, that is outweighed by the comfortable feel of a family practice. In this age of assembly-​line medical attention, The team at Cleveland Clinic Parkland made me feel comfortable with their personal attention.

Terrible when it comes to getting refills on prescriptions. Three days since, I had my diabetic meds and two phone calls and still waiting for a a refill for my diabetic medication refill. I was told I had to wait 48 to 72 hours. Terrible !!!
