The BBQ was lousy. My daughter did not like chicken and i hated the smoked beef sandwich had the consistency of shoe leather. Beef brisket should fall apart and be shredded… so they need to go back to BBQ school. On a positive note the lunchmeat selection was fresh and better priced than local supermarkets.

We’ve very much enjoyed the wide variety of meats and deli items they carry. Fresh shrimp and flounder were top-notch. Lots of interesting food items, from green bean chips to swedish fish. They have honey — there’s actually a beehive IN the store(behind glass, of course) that’s so interesting to watch! Look for a wall full of PA-Dutch jams and jellies, which make nice gifts. Bakery has good sticky buns. Not open on Sundays.

I have to say I love Hershey Farm market. I have never had one underwhelming thing from them. Everything exceeds expectations– their ice cream, produce, cheese… My husband and I love getting cheesesteaks there, as well as their BBQ. Nothing like a Saturday afternoon sitting down with some ribs and chicken. And as a bonus, my older daughter LOVES the new playground they put in. If you want it fresh and tasty– go to Hershey!

visit two… the only thing ive ever gotten here was gala apples. the visit time between one and two was so long that I forgot that the apples were fleshy. not bad — just different. other than that, they have a lot of great shelved items, meats, local honey, desserts, baked goods.

I’ve always abided by the rule that it’s a bad idea to go shopping when you’re hungry, because you never know what you’ll end up buying that you wouldn’t have bought ordinarily. I can’t think of a place where that rule would be more true than Hershey’s Farm Market — and really, even if you DON’T shop hungry, you’ll still want to buy one of everything they sell. There is seriously no shortage of great items in this place. The raw honey from Stockin’s Apiaries is probably my favorite raw honey ever(particularly the Orange Blossom flavor; it’s been a big hit with my entire family since the moment I brought it home). The butcher’s counter features a wide array of excellent choices, and there’s also a whole freezer dedicated to rarer options, such as kangaroo burgers, ostrich, and bison hot dogs. The premises also smell delicious, like a little slice of fresh-baked heaven. I haven’t even gotten to buying the baked goods yet. By the time I make it to that part of the store, my basket’s already full. Hershey’s is a good 40 minutes from where I live, but it’s totally worth the trip. I could spend all day just browsing at the choices… and all night feasting on the items that I chose.

What a find!!! I’m proud that HFM is my 100th review. I agree with RB. about the butcher. They have great steaks and the Rib-eyes I bought were $ 5 cheaper per pound than the grocery store. The veggies are crazy fresh and don’t forget to visit the dessert case in the corner before you check out. They have giant boxes of cream-filled long John’s — basically a giant oblong donut with a heavenly cream-filled center covered in powdered sugar. You can get two packages of these each containing about 8 for $ 10 bucks. They also make these great dog treats — they look like doggie bagels — they are very popular with my fur-babies. When you check out they even give you $ 1 off coupon for your next visit, which will be soon for me b/c I’ve run out of long John’s!!! On a separate note, HFM is right on RT. 10 — it is VERY difficult to turn left out of the parking lot due to the volume of traffic that goes by.

Looking for an amazing cut of meat for a special occasion? This place will not let you down! They are great in accommodating larger portions then you would find in the grocery store and the meats and always fresh and top notch! A++(PS — the homemade baked goods are delicious as well!)

We love Hershey’s Farm Market! Great seafood, meat and lunchmeat counters, the staff is friendly and I LOVE their homemade bread pudding and dirt pudding. Also, they sell Christmas trees too!
