If you are getting something as serious as a metal plate and some screws put in your collar bone you really should make sure the person putting it in is the best. Dr. Alijani totally fits that title.
The boy broke his collar bone and after weeks of not healing his doctor finally sent him to Dr. A. We were pretty nervous. He needed to get back to work ASAP and we had a bad feeling that going to a specialist was a good sign that he needed to be operated on and that means more healing time. Boo! Dr. Alijani was quick to take his own X-​rays and knew right away that a plate was needed. By the time he left his first appointment we had a surgery date set at Skyridge.
The day of surgery everything went great. They were running a little behind but got him in and out faster than I expected. Dr. Alijani was there in the waiting room to tell me how everything went and to answer any questions. And boy am I a questions kind of person. I never felt like he was annoyed by any of my questions and his answered were always helpful.
Follow up was just as easy. They took more x-​rays and made sure it was really healing and that he was ready to go back to work. It has been over 6 months now and he feels VERY little pain and very rarely. While he seems fairly proud of the scar and not at all interested in putting anything on it to make it seem less visible it has still healed well and looks good all things considered. We would both highly recommend Dr. Alijani to anyone needing specific care like this.
