Insulation — If your home is in need of upgrading the insulation, I absolutely recommend Energy Geeks in Parker, Co. I found them at the Denver Home & Garden Show last year, and had them out for an estimate, and I had LOTS of questions. Ralph, the owner, did a door blower test, and made sure I understood every step of the process, as well as the 24 page report from the energy audit. He helped me sort through what was needed now, what might wait, so I could make good decisions. They completed the work by spring, and now that we are in the colder weather, Black Hills reports that I use 16% less natural gas than my efficient neighbors, 30% less than all neighbors!
