In a town of limited eating options Crossroads Café is always on our list for filling our bellies! For breakfast their basic sausage and eggs are delicious and if you want to really do it up big time in the eating department, try the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. It is absolutely amazing and they claim they hand-dip their own steak. It’s big enough for two if you’re watching your figure! A few nights ago I tried their Cheeseburger and Fries. I was highly impressed when they served my burger on a fancy, shiny French Brioche Roll which is usually reserved for gourmet burger joints. The service was very good and the wait was not too bad as it is very popular place.

I’m in awe. How did they get the rating they have? Food was average at best, service was poor, and prices a little stiff for the quantity($ 4.00 for two child size chocolate milks). I had the Eggs Benedict, the eggs were hard and the sauce was flavorless. Do yourself a favor and order the pancakes if you must eat here. You can always drown them in syrup! The kids had a cheeseburger and corn dog. We all left hungry. Still searching for the #1 restaurant in Parker.

Good spot to stop when you’re at the river. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and the food arrived quickly.

Food and service is excellent. Visiting Parker and have been back for breakfast the last three days. The restaurant has been full all 3 days but the wait has not been long. Would highly recommend.

I would have given four stars if it weren’t for that darn omelette! Ample parking. Air conditioned and comfortable. Clean, accessible restrooms, friendly wait staff. Decent prices a plus! Today we followed the stars. This joynt rated 4.6 stars! Probably correct to a point. Today we were two. A build your own, breakfast burrito chock full of ham, eggs, cheese and avocado. It was perfect! Side of fresh fruit which was good but, hmmm, couldn’t of my finger on it. Something a bit odd. The fruit taste as though it came straight out of a fruit cup even though I know it didn’t. Good but different. The omelette … . The omelette was not an omelette. The egg was completely unseasoned and cooked separately from the ingredients which were grilled. So if you can imagine. Sausage, ham, mushrooms, jalapeños and jack cheese(which they forgot to add), all grilled on the flat top then, set onto the«rubbery egg tortilla» and the unseasoned, rubbery, egg tortilla, folded over. This thing looked like one of those gag gifts you buy at a joke shop. Sure, the ingredients were good. But the method. Flawed. Horribly flawed. Side of biscuits and gravy was wonderful! Perfect! More than made up for the omelette which out server was nice enough to remove from the check. Ice tea with lemon, hard to screw up. But it can be done. Mine was fine. No refill as requested. I figured since the rubber omelette was removed from the check, what was the sense in mentioning the missing cheese. Service was somewhat efficient. Ambiance was dinerey. Believe it or not, I’d try it again. Just not the omelette.

We were staying next door at the Quality Inn and saw a bunch of cars parked over here every day. On the last day of our trip, we decided to drop in here for breakfast. The joint reminds me of the old truck stop diners you used to see on the side of the highway… so I was in the mood for something with a ton of calories… I ended up ordering the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs w/Sourdough Toast, $ 9.75 The Better Half ordered the Hamburger Steak & Eggs, $ 8.75 The Chicken Fried Steak was awesome! I haven’t tasted one like this in a while… it was soooo good! The service was what you’d expect from a joint like this… they were working really hard and servicing a ton of tables. The food came out hot and within a reasonable time. Overall, it was a great experience. Return Factor — 85%

The french dip and the mushroom burger are great food items. The water is NOT good. Service is excellent.
