yep, i’m definitely a fan of dr. clarke and her office staff. the process for making the appointment was smooth and pleasant. i spoke with someone in dr clarke’s office who mailed the necessary paperwork to me, which i was able to complete prior to my appointment. this was appreciated. i arrived just before my scheduled appointment time and was seen by the nurse perhaps 5 minutes later. soon after dr clarke came in and we spoke briefly before she set me up for x-rays.(without getting into the details of my visit… let’s say if it were possible to get a foot transplant i would. arthritis in feet at my age? aaaaargh!) i was then guided into the x-ray room and that process took maybe 7 minutes. it was probably much less but i was joking with the staff and we all know that when you’re having fun, time flies. not too longer after the x-rays were completed dr clarke returned and reviewed everything with me. she clearly described my options, what was entailed per option and the length of time i would be in a cast and off my feet.(ba dum dum) i asked a number of questions and she answered them without hesitation or frustration. my experience was so positive that i’ve opted to schedule surgery with dr clarke after dealing with 15+ years of foot pain other physicians and medical professionals would do well to take a page out of dr clarke and her office staff’s book on how to treat, speak, and deal with patients.

I’ve pounded my feet into hamburger, so I went to see Dr. Clarke. I am very happy about it. The staff was professional and cheerful. They took some X-rays. Dr. Clarke was just great, spending plenty of time asking questions about my condition and explaining what was going on. She talked a good deal about running and suggested what kind of shoes I should buy, then specially modified some cushioning insoles for me, hand-cutting some little foam-things to provide extra padding where I needed it. She seemed quite knowledgeable and the whole thing was a very pleasant experience.
