My contact was David. Very nice guy, but it was a little bumpy getting clear on the estimate. This was because there are several variables to decide on when redoing hardwood floors. To stain or not to stain. Oil or water based. And then there are three grades of finish. This meant the estimate included prices for several of these options. Once we got straight on the price, we felt it was fair. Not the cheapest company in town, but cheeping out on a long term thing like redoing floors is foolish. They were very accommodating about when they would do the job and we give them very little notice. They did the entire first floor of our ranch house in two days. They did a beautiful, thorough job, even replacing five boards that were damaged by previous owners, at a very reasonable price. The end result was oak floors that truly look brand new. They cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly as well. Both of the guys who did the work were very pleasant and full of good advice and insights about the floors and how to care for them. If I had a minor issue, it would be that they left garbage bags of sawdust and sandpaper for us to deal with. I always feel that when people do work in our home, they should be responsible for removing waste. But that is a tiny thing in comparison to the great job they did overall. I will recommend them without hesitation.
