Good food but horrible service. The host is completely clueless. The head chef saves the place. Next time just take it to go. We ordered the vegetable curry, noodles with veggies.

I’m a fan of Phở. I try Phở almost everywhere I go, this Taste of Saigon is the worse Phở I ever had. Don’t ever try.

My crew and I after shooting almost 12 hours decided to get dinner on main street in Park City. Half the crew went to some bar for dinner, the rest of us went to Taste of Saigon. The place is small(well, maybe for Sundance and the amount of people it brings) and the wait was kind of long to get a table for 4. But once seated it did move quickly. The place seems to be runned by a family so there was a ton of chaos and talk among servers/bosses that you usually dont see or hear at other restaurants. But whatever, it added to hectic pace the place offered. If you can clear all that i mentioned then its smooth sailing from here on out. I was jonezing for Phở and when I got my order, it was perfect. It couldve been a little hotter but whatev, it was great. The rest of my crew enjoyed their orders as well. The prices are reasonable for being on Main Street in Park City. I would update the décor — it did look like we were walking into an 80’s international overseas film. Bottom line — good food, reasonable prices. def recommended.

Got here and the menu indicated that you had to ask your server for wine/beer menu. We asked and they told us they dont serve alcohol. Then we ordered food, two of the entrees came out and the other two took another 10 – 15 minutes. It wouldn’t be so bad if they had more than 6 people in the entire restaurant on a Thursday night.

Beware of this Place! Don’t go here. Since January 2015 this place has gotten really bad. We were unable to eat certain dishes and the waiter would not take it back. Go somewhere else!

Sorry for the not great review but I can’t let it go. Had the beef phở. Broth was remarkably not hot or close to steaming. Rice noodles were hard and not cooked. Came with cilantro vs Thai basil. Combined it was all just off. Tried my wife’s lemongrass chicken cold vermicelli noodle dish. Chicken tasted marinated and gingery which was ok but the rice noodles were even MORE underdone than mine. Crazy. It was Sundance so I know it was a capacity crowd but seemed on par when compared to other bad reviews. Table next to us also sent food back — anecdotally speaking.

You know that feeling you have for the rest of the night when your dinner was just wrong? The type of wrong your dinners used to be when you first moved out of the dorms and started throwing all sorts of thrilling ingredients into your Kraft Mac N Cheeze? The type of wrong your dinner turns into when it’s 11:30pm and you try to make stir fry out of random crap you find in the fridge? This place is garbage. Sadly, I’ve eaten here 20 – 30 times over the last year and half because it’s on Main St, open on Sundays, fairly inexpensive(compared to Main St pricing) and a quick walk for hangover orders. Unfortunately, there has literally not been a single time that my order has been correct– and I mostly just order Beef Phở(as opposed to the only other Phở they have– chicken). I’m with 2 others and their orders are also incorrect. This time they got all my «extra meat, extra bean sprouts, don’t forget the sriracha like you always do» order and I praised Jesus… Until I opened the beef broth and it was some goopy chicken slop that I’m sure someone else was disappointed they didn’t get to have diarrhea from. PHO-CK this place. Luckily my friend had her beef broth for me to use and it was so dark and gross I ended up dumping it out and stir frying it. Drive 6 miles to Kimball Junction to Shabu Shabu and pay an extra $ 2 for authentic food and great service. Barf.

Pretty good food overall if you’re feeling like Filipino food or asian food without MSG(they actually don’t use it and it’s the first I’ve found for a Vietnamese/Asian restaurant). I was pretty surprised and pretty happy eating up their phở which was pretty good. Overall, the restaurants seems pretty decent/good especially with their lunch special($ 9 to $ 12) menu. If they take that away, then their food is probably pretty overpriced for Park City but what can you do if you’re feeling for Asian food. It’s tucked in the back of a Galleria mall and the place is a bit run down. Overall, I still like it and will be going back for lunch only.

Do not go to this place for Vietnamese food! I feel bad saying anything bad about a small business. I ordered in Vietnamese and no one understood me. Should of been my first clue to leave.

$ 12 for boiled veggies is a rip off. Also the worst«fried» Vietnamese I’ve ever had, because the noodles weren’t actually fried.

I hate writing negitive reviews especially for local small businesses. My wife and I recently moved from Southern California where we have been spoilded by delicious asian food. I got the phở and it was sweet and underwhelming, I would give it a C+/B-. My brother got a noodle dish and was very disappointed. He mentioned he will not be coming back. I would give the phở another shot but wouldn’t come back for any other reason. Unfortunately its the only Vietnamese restaurant in Park City.

Great place to eat if you are craving Filipino food in Park City. Their dishes taste just like home cooked meals. We had their lechon kawali, kare kare with bagoong & sinagang baboy… All 3 dishes were amazing. We also got a Bun plate which was pretty close to authentic Vietnamese food. The fish sauce was made really well and flavorful. The marinated beef was quite tasty, and the egg rolls, though smaller in size in comparison to the real deal, were pretty darn good! We’ve tried many Asian cuisine while in park city, and this is the closest to «authentic» Vietnamese AND Filipino food the we’ve had here. We’re from the heart of Los Angeles, have visited Vietnam in the past & and are Filipino ourselves, so it’s safe to say that we KNOW what good southeast Asian food tastes like!

We eat here every year when we come to Park City and we’re never disappointed. The food is always delish, portions are LARGE, and they are very flexible if you want to omit or add items to your order. I had chicken Pad Thai which I couldn’t finish(tons of chicken) and brought back to the condo for two more mini meals. The seasoning was spot on and they accommodated our group’s «heat» requirements from 1 – 10. Others had hot and sour soup, pan-fried noodles, beef curry, all was outstanding.

Ethnic food in Utah is dicey, and I get that many folks here aren’t accustomed to robust, «foreign» flavors. But, I’d be willing to bet that some authenticity would go far here. Especially in Park City. This family owned restaurant should embrace their culture and throw away concerns of offending the palates of the sheltered and unadventurous: lose the iceberg lettuce and jack up that delicious Phở broth with all the fish heads and guts you can muster. Be bold! People who love Vietnamese food, love REAL Vietnamese food. Don’t dummy down. Spank our palates into submission with the flavors us real Phở lovers are hooked on!

Every time that I come here, I just like the place more and more. Service is great, the food is yummy and compared to the price of other places along Main Street, it’s fabulous. In the few days that I was here, we came here twice for dinner. That means something considering I cancelled reservations at The Farm in the Canyons and having dinner at Silver — which wasn’t too impressive. They didn’t have sinigang this time, it was so yummy last time, but they did have kare kare! YUM!

I have a soft spot for this place. It’s quiet and tucked back from Main Street a bit. I personally really like their phở. It’s hot, fresh, and delicious. Sometimes I’ll take a break from work & dine in as a treat.

Who would’ve thought finding a Viet place would be so easy in Park City. After a long long long day of snowboarding, we all sat around the condo and muttered, «A bowl of phở would be perfect right now.» *cue everyone taking out their iPhone and searching Unilocal. Ding. 0.7 miles away. Party of 10 easily seated within minutes and keep in mind, we weren’t the only people there. They were fairly busy. While the phở was satisfying, it was definitely different. Can’t put my finger on it. The broth was darker than usual and it had a meatier taste. I wonder if they od-ed on Worcester and/or hoisin sauce. That’s my guess. But the suggested lemon grass helped. A lot. wattsup: no drink menu given upon arrival. At the back of the menu in small letters, «Additional wine/drink menu available upon request.» For the longest we thought it was BYOB. Dark red lighting reminded me of an Indian restaurant. Random, I know, but for some reason, I felt like I was ready to eat some curry and naan. Where my mormons at?

mmmm… no. This place is really bad. Really really bad. I’m ashamed to have the city of Saigon’s name ravaged by this restaurant’s title. This may have been an anomaly, but our waitress was horrible. She came out to take our appetizer order and walked away. We had not ordered any drinks. So while she was walking away, I had to grab her attention by saying I wanted water and my mom wanted a coke. When our food arrived to the table, two of the orders were wrong. She argued briefly that we mistakenly ordered the wrong food. But… we ordered by verbally saying the dish AND saying the number. It was corrected, of course, but not first with a little attitude, then apology. My phở was gross. It didn’t taste like phở broth. The noodles were not of good quality and undercooked. My brothers sweet and sour pork really tasted like they dumped sweet and sour sauce over slices of pork, carrots, bell peppers, and onions.(This sweet and sour pork is not the deep fried kind, so don’t expect the regular style sweet and sour most Americans imagine.) Needless to say, it wasn’t good. My mom got an egg noodle soup dish, which was decent. Not much to complain about that. Anyways, food was not great, service was below par, and the prices were atrocious($ 11 for a crappy bowl of phở, phoreal?), but I really didn’t expect much more from an asian restaurant tucked away in a touristy area.
