J.W. Allen & Sons Toys & Candy

This amazing store was one of the highlights of our trip to Park City. I shop constantly for gifts for my granddaughters and in this store I found so many adorable things I’ve never seen before. (A Lego Advent calendar! So cool.) Could have spent hours there and the owner was so nice and helpful. Wish he would open a store in San Diego.

Easily one of the coolest toy stores ever! The place is stuffed with toys in every usable space there is. You can find something new every time you go in there. They have a selection of quality toys you just can’t find at the big box stores. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially the tall guy that seems to know an enormous amount about toys, and if they don’t have it they will find it for you. I honestly have never seen better customer service at a toy store. I have purchased many toys for my kids at this store and will continue when I have grandchildren.

I have been in here a number of times and while the store is cute, the service is not. The toys are fun but majorly overpriced, and the staff is just not that friendly, even to the kids. Frankly I would rather spend my money across the street where I know my business is appreciated, and we will be treated nicely.

I am a kid at heart and this store is a must-​stop if you are in Park City! It’s one of those overstuffed spaces that is filled to the brim with toys, books, puzzles, stuffed animals and more… the kind of magical feeling store where you are easily convinced that all the toys come to life in there at night.
Here you will find the latest and greatest modern toys, nostalgic toys and a great assortment of dolls, candy and stuffed animals. My husband is a yo-​yo freak and this is one of the only places where he can find good yo-​yos and replacement strings (really, start looking for yo-​yos, they are hard as anything to find)! They also stock some great kites and water toys too.
I’m a big fan of this store and every time I go there, I end up buying something I didn’t know I needed. The perfect place to browse for kids and adults alike. Friendly employees too. Now I’m off to play with my brand new bubble wand that I just bought here last week!
