Crawford’s Hole In the Wall

I had the special like all the locals. Delicious chicken fried chicken. The rolls were amazing!

Dropped in on Friday. Place was busy but not packed. Great atmosphere! Had the cheeseburger and fries, friend had the spicy chicken sandwich. Service a little slow, but very friendly and accommodating! Good was excellent! Highly recommend.

Though the location is hard to find Hole in the Wall has all the charm of one of those hidden small town gems. With the rustic feel that makes you feel at home. However I find a few faults with this restraint. They have a very select menu which can make it for slim pickings for a foodie like me. Their most well known for their specials and their taco salad. I personally dislike their burgers. I like a good greesy burger like the next person but that’s just too much! A lot of their fried food I find to be to greesy. And yes sadly they are not open on the weekends and packed during the week days. So get there before the lunch rush. Over all it’s a decent place with a few minor adjustments that need to be made.

We ate here for the first time today and we were blown away! The food was homemade and INCREDIBLE! We were welcomed like family and the service was top notch. Their bread pudding is out of this world! This is definitely our new favorite when visiting Paris!

Love this place. We visit Crawford’s every time we drive through Paris. The chicken salad sandwich and fruit is fantastic. The bread pudding is the best in Texas and Louisiana.

Solid place to eat, the lunch is great — just don’t be late. I generally eat the special — best value and always a good choice!

not classy at all, run down looking, greasy food. Unimpressive location, and I hear they strongly support Chick Fil A… Probably a desperate attempt to recruit more trashy customers to this «hole in the wall»…

This place is awesome! They serve down home cooking well! Which is hard to find, it isn’t in a pool of grease and they spend quality time on having good sides which I appreciate. The Bread Pudding is amazing! Go here and enjoy yourself

don’t get me wrong, i have eaten at a handful of places in paris (mostly chains, and one other independent joint) and crawford’s is by far the best. the menu was not very extensive. burgers, and a couple other sammies,
ordered the mushroom burger which was slight above average as far as burgers go, the fries were average to slightly below average — nothing special.
all in all, much better than other options in town. it was not mind blowing, but one of those mom and pops that are slightly above average.

This place is great. It’s a block away from the courthouse so convenient if you happen to find yourself stuck there through lunch time.
I had a chicken fried steak sandwich with onion rings and a sweet tea. The sandwich bun was very fresh as were all condiments. Steak batter was very flavorful as was the onion ring batter (different batter though, onion ring batter was the traditional more coarse stuff). Both the steak and the onions were cut surprisingly thick too. A more cooth person would’ve taken a knife to the meat when it didn’t bite off cleanly… I just made a mess on my chin.
Atmosphere is that sort of deliberate looking vintage that looks homey but you’re not afraid the building’s gonna fall down.
My tab for lunch was a little less than $ 8.
This sounds a little strange to most probably… but GREAT iced tea. Not weak like most places.
All in all, if I ever find myself in this part I’d the world during lunch again I’ll definitely give ‘em my business. I’ve got a lot more menu to try after all.
