I have had an excellent experience with Pete, he is the owner of Pete’s Major Appliance Co. I was so lucky to get Pete, he fixed the bottom oven door of my Thermador 27″ double wall oven(ovens, convection oven, & microwave oven combination). I am so grateful because I got the tech Paul from Thermador Service Center(1−800−578−6890) who came and took one look at my oven and told me to get a new one, that people should get new appliances every 7 years. $ 4500 every 7 years! I was wrong, I thought I should get the best, that’s why I called Thermador. Then Tech Paul was pushing the latch hard and said I should get a new oven because he could not lock the door. I realized he was closing the latch wrong, he had to turn the oven knob clockwise to clean and turn the knob until the 3 lashes on the dial disappear. I now know better, I called up Pete’s Major Appliance Co. Instead of waiting for 2 weeks, Pete, the owner, came in 3 days. Within 5 minutes, he fixed the oven door. He even re-set the clock to reflect the correct time, he’s so good. The Thermodar tech Paul also told me to buy a new 48″ 6-burner cooktop with a griddle as he could not make the griddle knob turn after he sprayed some turpentine oil on the knob’s stem. Pete took the whole front panel out and declared the knob can be fixed, he just needs to purchase the right part for me. Pete is such a gem! He is professional, experienced, skillful, and honest. Please note that I have homes in Beverly Hills and Short Hills where Pete came to service my Thermador wall ovens and my 48″ cooktop. I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

They came to my home several times to fix an appliance and never fixed it — any even though the appliance was under an extended warranty they said maybe it needed a part the part that was not covered under warranty — and billed me. After at least 6 visits and waiting for them all day! What a waste of time taking time off to wait for them and still with a broken appliance… and rude
