It’s called shoe repair but they give you do it yourself, waste of money and time to come here.

For the past few days, I could not get this shoe repair out of my mind, and I finally figured out why. They are the BEST shoe repair people ever. EVER! I’ve lived in a few walking cities(NYC and Tokyo) and spent a few months in a couple more(Boston, D.C., and Manila). You better believe my poor shoes go through hell and back. I learned A LONG time ago, the first thing I do before breaking in a nice pair of new shoes is to take preventative measures. It sounds crazy and anal, but it’s cost effective.(about 10ish bucks total plus a 10 minute wait for my shoe as opposed to saaaay 40 bucks and a 4 day wait to get the heels replaced.) Now for those completely dependent on cars, preventative measures = getting the heel protected(shoe repairs usually have this plastic thing they nail on the corner of the heel) and a slip guard(it’s this thing with ridges they stick on the sole that helps me from tumbling down slopes while walking in heels) put on. What makes this place stand out from the others is not only are they cheaper but for some reason their slip guards last longer than a lot of others. I’ve tried ALL sorts of shoe repairs in the city(NYC) but no other compares to this one. Heck yes it’s worth renting a zipcar and trekking all the way up to Jersey from the city!(or forcing someone with a car to take me HA) AND! On top of being the best. shoe. repair. EVER, they cut keys too. So you know, just in case you moved or got a new bf/gf or something, you can get an extra key while waiting for your shoes. RESPECTTHEMOTHER EFin HUSTLE! warning: the nice little old man, his nice little old wife, and their young(ish) son don’t speak english… so it may take 15 minutes total to get your shoe repaired. or pre-repaired in my case… since it’ll take 10 minutes for the actual work and 5 minutes for communication ;)
