We used to come here all the time to bowl on a league and we loved it there! We recently went back in December and again today and had horrible service. In December, I threw a birthday party for my husband and when I went to bring in the cupcakes that I made, I was told that they did not allow ANY outside food or drink unless we rented the party room, so I had to leave all 25 cupcakes in the car. In my opinion, I do not see the difference between renting the party room and not renting it. We are still buying their food, their alcohol, their shoes and their games. I really didn’t think that bringing in cupcakes was going to harm their business in anyway(because I’m not going to rent a party room for my 25 year old husbands birthday party). My experience today was less than great. We went down there for dinner with our 1 year old. The food was decent, except the side of avocado that we ordered for my daughter was black(yuck). Went I asked for a high chair for her, they told me that they only had 1 and it was in the party room. I ask them if it was being used and they said no, but that they couldn’t get it because they didn’t want to disturb the child’s birthday party(everyone in there was just standing around chatting and eating). Lastly, this place is supposed to be for families to come and hang out, which makes me ask why they don’t have a changing table in either bathroom?! I could go on and on about this place. Definitely going down hill fast.

We love to bowl on Thursday nights with family and friends. We are faithful Paradise customers who have continued to bring people to this location to bowl every Thursday. We understand busy nights but what I don’t understand is rude staff and unfriendly management. It’s not what you say but how you say it and act. We were told that we could have a lane if a lane became available with the league. So eventually one group said they were leaving but then we were told we couldn’t have the available lane because it was between the leagues. Ok. Whatever… You should have said that initially. Then 2 other lanes became available from non-leaguers that were right next to a league. We were told that we may not understand the rules and therefore we couldn’t have the lane next to them for fear of losing a league. Really? So the rules only apply to those you choose. Oh and btw… We know the rules! Oh and don’t think about making reservations unless you have a special«in» or a mighty large group that will make them«big» money. With these people rules only apply as they see fit. No reservations we were told but everyone there had a reservation which was why all lanes were taken. At that point in the evening how about, «I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I understand your frustration.» No kindness or sympathy whatsoever. At that point it’s just time to go and not return. Do you people care about having Paradise customers /families that come all year long even when your leagues are not there? Kindness goes a long ways! We were waiting until leagues were over to invite more to join us on Thursdays but unfortunately we will now be bowling in Chico. Kindness would have gone a long ways! So unfortunate!

Well I’ll start out by saying that the reasoning is not for the staff here but instead the manager. When I was on a league here he had beef with my relative. Because he had beef with my relative he took it out on me, the son. Food is great, staff are very helpful and the bowling is great. But the manager is going to put on a fake face for you. Remember that he actually doesn’t run that place well. I will never be on a league there again.

Pros: Friendly & helpful staff. The prices are reasonable and there’s a bar. There’s also a small counter with some food options. The parking lot is nice and big w/lots of room. Cons: The bowling alley overall needs some upgrading. The scoring monitors are old and basic which makes it somewhat boring for children and teenagers. In the end, if you want to just bowl with your buddies, then this place will do just fine.
