Two guys who have worked in restaurants decided it would be a good idea to open their own. That’s kind of like thinking if you once rode on a bus you can drive one. They have been open about two weeks, so I decided to have lunch. The hostess is a neice of the manager and has no experience, it was also the first job for the waitress who couldn’t even tell me who owned the place. The chips were surprisingly light, crisp and warm. The salsa was very bland with the exception of salt that was used as a thickener. The menu is just the basics: enchiladas, tamales, tacos, fajitas. I had the chile relleno and my wife had the chicken enchiladas. Bland is the best description of everything. If I lived in the city limits of Paradise and didn’t have a car, I might eat there again but probably would go for something from the deli at the convenience store instead. I don’t know why I thought the flan might be okay for dessert but it was overcooked and suffered from synersis.
