Seems people don’t want to be lied to or taken advantage of these days. what a terrible world cant oppress the population no more each person suppose have feelins damn, that to much. That is why I must side with barney os managment that women more wrinkley and more evil than Hillary Clinton. I must declare that be one man lookin leathery hand bag named patty. just that name make mobama say what pat mean? it sound like man and women smahed into one ambiguous shemale. And she plays the roll strangy hair, coke bottle glasses, no make up, pants round bellybutton, and i cant tel if her package bulgen or just chewing the zipper. mobama need call airstrike on that he good blowin up nasty caves with really hairy dudes who never shower up in there. air time up bring your best tooth nugget girls and ill be at barneys with taxpayer’s money it so expensive you got to be a thug to hustle up enough funds i approve this place but not much might get better ratings than me

I’ve eaten here twice with about 3 years in between visits. I wasn’t very impressed with the first visit because I thought it was too expensive for the quality of food that we were served.
Tonight, I decided that I wanted a burger and Barney O’Rourke’s came up. After looking up some reviews, my wife and I decided that we would give it another try.
We ordered medium-​rare bacon cheeseburgers and a small order of fries. That added up to $ 26. After seeing the price tag, my expectations went up. A price like that should bring me a big plate or pretty high quality food. Unfortunately, we did not receive either of those.
The burgers were probably ¼ pounders but were possibly smaller. They were served on standard potato buns with regular toppings: shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and «sauce» (it was thousand island). The burgers were not medium-​rare. I found this funny because I asked for the burgers to be medium-​rare and the server said that all of there burgers are served medium-​rare unless specified. The cheese wasn’t melted on the burgers, which I also found funny because the burger was closer to medium-​well than medium. The taste of mine wasn’t bad. It was an ok burger. I can’t badmouth the burger’s taste, but it was far from the taste that I’ve come to expect from an $ 11 burger. My wife agreed with me when it can to this factor. If these burgers were $ 6, I would feel better about them. That factor alone would’ve changed my review to a ³⁄₅.
Lastly, the fries were extremely mediocre… Like really mediocre. These fries were like the fries that you get out of the freezer section at the grocery store.
Some of the reviews here say that this place has the best burger in town. Well, there aren’t too many burger places in town so that wouldn’t be too big of an accomplishment. I would say Izzy’s is better than this place and it’s cheaper. If you want some «meh» food with a high price tag, I’d choose this place.

I think it’s over priced but the burger keeps us going back its we’ve been eating here for over 25 years it’s so much better then it was in the beginning staff is great fun casual burger experience

Good sandwiches. My brother-​in-​law and sister-​in-​law liked their Barney Burger. They split it for lunch and thought it was good as usual. I tried their chicken sandwich, which was very good. My wife had the toasted cheese sandwich, but they forgot her special request to add a slice of tomato. They offered to fix it, but we were in a rush to get to the airport. Very good service. Plenty of parking at lunch time on a Monday. Not very busy.

Craving a burger and cruising through Paradise my boyfriend & I stopped for «the best burgers in town». When I crave a burger I’m really craving a healthy portion of juicy ground beef I can sink my teeth into which is what I was expecting from «the best». While perusing the menu we caught a glance of an order go by with suspiciously thin meat-​pancakes sandwiched between buns. This led to our decision to just wet our feet by ordering one to share and some onion rings.
The burgers are basic (starting at $ 9) and additional toppings were $ 2. We added cheese, bacon and jalapenos. Why jalapenos are an additional $ 2, the same price as cheese and bacon, seems absolutely ridiculous to me but I thought maybe for $ 2 they’d be a special varietal or of some special preparation.
Our $ 15 burger came out incredibly fast which made sense considering the burger was the thinnest I’d seen and simply flash charred on a grill– crunchy, bordering burnt outside with a rare middle. All I could taste was grill-​char, $ 2 canned jalapenos (why?) and their special sauce which is the same generic big-​mac-​in-​n-​out-​mayo-​relish-​ketchup-​tasting sauce you’ve had everywhere else. I was really looking for some meat, y’know…like a burger. The 5 onion rings for $ 7 were generically satisfying but not $ 7 worth of satisfying.
The out-​dated trailor park décor was my favorite part of the visit. It created an ambiance akin to a Quentin Tarantino set staged in the midwest; drab, cheap, and begging for some excitement.
Service was just ok, it took a long time for our order to be taken and then after asking and waiting for our check we were told it was lost then watched the server talk with regulars instead of trying to find it or write up a new one. We were trying to be patient but we’d been done with our food and drinks for about 10 minutes before we asked for our check in the first place.
The tl/​dr: Terribly overpriced, food is meh, won’t be back.

They make a killer burger here! Best burger in Paradise.
The one brunette bartender is awesome. She got me & my bf hooked on peach margaritas. Now everywhere we go we order peach margaritas. We have been to some top notch places on Monterey coast & ordered peach margaritas & they had nothin on the ones the bartender here makes.
Parkings a little inconvenient & they close to early.

Great food, their burgers are the best. Prices are higher than an average for a burger joint, but service is great and friendly. There is a bar for 21 and over and plenty of seating for groups which is where we do holiday ornament exchanges!

Barney’s is the best place to get a burger in Paradise! The owners are awesome and so is the servers. Food is delicious and top notch. The place we go the most in Paradise.

Definitely the worst service I have ever had. Our party of six got one menu for our table. We waited 45 minutes before our order was taken. After at least another half hour before we decided to leave because our simple lunch order was taking too long. This restaurant was extremely under staffed, a few people from another table got up and helped the waitress. If you are planning on going here for any meal, goto Taco Bell first and get some food to eat while you are waiting for your meal, trust me you will thank me.

Stick with burgers. Their idea of pastrami sandwich is a joke. Currently served on Tuesdays only. Very little meat for the price, $ 10.00. When the
Waitress asked how was our food and we commented on the skimpy amount, she could have cared less. I would only come back for a burger and brew.

I’ve been here twice now and had great experiences. The bartenders are both very nice. And it seems I;ve even helped create a new popular drink The «Maple Doughnut». I had some fries last night and they were really quite excellent. I am told the place recently lost some dead weight in the from of rude wait staff. I dont know about others with past experiences but the folks here are really friendly. I’m going back for the steak dinner. :)

Definitely the best burger in Paradise. You have got to try this place. Every burger is cooked to perfection. There a lot of must tries on the menu as well. Great fish tacos too. I like that it is very clean and children friendly. Will be going back.

So the special for Tuesday is the Reuben Sandwich. O.M.G. so friggin delicious! Get a choice of coleslaw or potato salad. Potato salad was under salted which worked really well to mellow out the saltiness of the corned beef when I put the salad in my sandwich. Pure awesomeness. The sauerkraut was amazing.
It seemed like everyone who came in while I was there got the Reuben… and now I know why. I think about them every Tuesday, but alas shouldn’t (and therefore don’t) stuff them in my face that often. :(Too bad because my taste buds throw a party on Tuesday at Barney O’Rourke’s.

I didn’t get past calling in to ask a question because before I could even speak i was met with unsolicited hostility. Then when i asked if they had any specials her voice didn’t improve, she only became ruder.

Great place for a burger. up on the top of my list for a burger in Paradise. Had a Gin n Tonic which was poured perfect. Like the fact that they have flat screens for games but wish they had music playing. Service was great. Would have given four stars if they had music.

Place was very clean an the staff are very nice. When it gets busy the service slows but other than that it is a comfortable place to have a cold beer and a good burger.

Quick and great service. I loved that they gave out the wifi password because it is in a dead spot for phones. I ordered the grilled cheese and was happy my stepdad got the burger and also was happy. Would visit again for sure

Burgers are so good! Get bacon and cheese for sure. All the appetizers are yummy, my personal favorite is the fried green beans. Worst complaint is when my sister and I shared a burger, they charged us $ 3.50 to split it… stupid! But by far, they are the best place in Paradise for a burger!
