I’m gonna keep this short and say that the food at this spot is wonderful. My wife and I get takeout from here once or twice every week. Amigos is easily the best Mexican food in Paradise.

Friendly service. Traditional flavor. I like the carne asada burrito. Good vegetarian options(according to the vegetarians in my life). I like to come here when I craving a steak burrito.

Yum, yum, yum!!! We went there for a treat tonight and were so pleased with our food. Huge servings and very reasonable prices! I had the three meat nachos, minus jalapeños and hubby had a el pastor burrito. It’s a tiny hole in the wall, and if you blink you’ll miss this place, and you’ll be sorry you did!

dig this place— consistently good food & personal service.(I think he said they’ve been there for 25yrs or so) I like parking in the back, there is a small sign leading you to the breezeway thru the bldgs. to the entry door.(it feels like back in time, discovering a authentic ‘hole-in the wall’ for gr8 ‘street tacos’ & such). we learned the 1st time that eating-in is certainly friendly, but ‘to-go’ is pretty much how they’re geared. highly recommend.

I’ve been consistently happy with the food here and the owner guy is as nice as can be. Food is inexpensive and very tasty. Probably better taken to go, the restaurant tends to be a little overly warm in the summer and drink options are very limited you will not be getting a margarita here. They have a fridge and I believe all drink options are sodas. There are only like 3 tiny tables, the place is so small that everything is tight quarters and there are frequently a couple kids at one table, perhaps the owner’s children? They’ve always been very good I suspect often doing homework, but don’t expect plenty of open tables. The place itself is super narrow, building definitely wasn’t designed as a restaurant. They are making the most of this tiny location.

So good!!! Do not go to the restaurant near by… go here! Tiny place easily missed but so worth the trouble. Everything is incredibly delicious and super affordable.

Very good flavorful Mexican food. Small hole in the wall gem that is worth discovering. My favorite are the pollo verde tacos. The green chilli tastes great and the mix of cilantro and onions is just right.

Food is outstanding. Cleanliness of the establishment is as I would expect for a hole in the wall small restaurant. Get your food to go and wear blinders when you are inside… Food is worth it. Period.

This place has the best veggie burrito I’ve ever had. The«vegetarian especial» is very flavorful and contains fresh carrots, potatoes and zucchini, rather than just a handful of lettuce like a lot of other restaurants. The owners are very friendly people and are always quick with their service. I always try to stop by here whenever I’m in town.

Pros: Delicious, authentic food(chimichangas are my favorite)! Very friendly service. Appropriate prices for the large portions. Cons: The building is small and warm.

I like the comments that said Meehos is «shady» and a «hole in the wall». That’s how 90% of non-chain restaurants are in Paradise. With the exception of moon gate chinese, all paradise restaurants are shady holes in the wall! Durh. Meehos is delicious though. Lots of people think it’s bland but I happen to like my food bland so it’s all good :-)

The area seemed a little shady and I was skeptical. Your typical small restaurant, if you wanna call it that, the kind that most people avoid. But I for one, love these kind of places because I find them to have the best food and bingo, right again! It’s authentic, it’s flavorful, it’s just right. Try it and you’ll be thanking yourself! 4 stars for just the location, I wish it would seem a little more sanitary.

The Chile Rellano burrito is AMAZING and HUGE. I can easily split this with another person and be completely satisfied. The chips are very crunchy and delicious, not overly salted like other places. Salsa is fresh, but seriously, you have to try the burrito! Happy that they have Jarritos avaliable, mmmmm Tamarind. This place is the typical hole in the wall as far as décor and seating goes but the food comes out fast and we were lucky to snag the last table during lunch.

Taste like home. The rice reminds me of how my Madre used to make it. Seriously the best in town and that’s saying a lot for how many Mexican places there are in Paradise.

This is an authentic Mexican joint in Paradise… if anyone else says differently, then they don’t know their Mexican food ;) A menu with variety, friendly staff, reasonable pricing. Thumbs up! I tried the al pastor taco and a corn mula with pollo. Neither were the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, but it was enjoyable. Only other place around that I’ve enjoyed their tacos is the taco truck in Magalia. I’ll be back to try more items and see if they can’t change my four to a five :)

I love the beef machaca tacos here. I’ve had tried most of the restaurants in town for Mexican and their food isn’t even close. You can ask for hot and they will spice it up for you. There are only a few tables as most orders are«to go». During the summer the dining room can get really warm but the food is worth it. You can call in and pick it up and enjoy your food in the comfort of your own home. The burritos are huge. To me there is no comparison though. Meehos is closer to me but the food is bland. I’ve talked to people that drove up from Chico just to get a burrito from here. It’s that good. This is one of those amazing gems hidden in Paradise that most people don’t know about. Don’t let the interior scare you off if you are looking for a great meal at a great price. I am sad that they are now closed on weekends though.

Great tasting food, small hole-in-the-wall spot, and not much for atmosphere, but if you want great authentic food, you should give it a try. Been around for decades and there taco salad is soooo good.
