I’be had a good haircut and a very bad haircut here. The bad one I ended up leaving looking like an Amish guy. My advice would be to be as specific as possible and stick with someone you know if you find someone you like. It is cheap and usually you can get right in.

I’ve had one of my best haircuts here and one of my worst. That’s the problem with these chains/​franchises (so this applies to Great Clips and the Hair Cuttery as well as Supercuts). I can give the exact same set of instructions but get radically different results, because they have such high turnover you never get the same people cutting your hair.
One time they gave me a haircut as good as the $ 35 one I’ve gotten elsewhere. Most recently they gave me such a horrible one that I’m thinking about getting my clippers out and just do a buzz cut on myself (which defeats the whole purpose of going to a hair stylist). The redeeming factor (and the only reason why I stopped short of giving this place only 1 or 2 stars) is that the stylist, sensing my severe disappointment, didn’t charge me for the haircut. I give them credit for that.
I’ve come here several times in the past because it’s so conveniently close to my house, you don’t need to make an appointment, and the prices are reasonable (though not cheap for a chain), but I may just bite the bullet and pay the extra costs elsewhere for more consistent results.
