If you want egg drop soup, order it to go or delivery, you get a lot more soup. When we have sat at a table and eaten in the restaurant, they just give you a small bowl of it. That being said, the food is always good. Jade is our go-to Chinese place in Arlington.

Ordered happy family, looks flavorless, taste flavorless. Have to put in soy sauce in to eat. Not recommend.

Great service. Very nice people. They have been open for years serving this area and there food shows why. Very affordable as well.

Tried to-go from Jade’s last night and was pleasantly surprised! Generous portions, great flavor, and nice crunch for fried items. I think that last part is key, and to make sure you enjoy the full potential of their food I’d recommend picking up and enjoying it hot and fresh. The texture is only right if you don’t wait half an hour for delivery. My order(chicken fried rice, orange chicken, and egg rolls) was ready in 10 minutes, and the service was cordial. The orange chicken was a huge portion and had great flavor. The batter was pleasantly light and crisp. Really the standout item I’d say. Fried rice was on par, as were the egg rolls. I have had food from here before and wasn’t amazed, but I think it’s bc we placed a large order and waited for delivery. I was really blown away by the taste this time and I know the freshness was a major factor.

I was looking at the promising reviews here and decided to give them a chance. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pork with fried rice and a side of Crab Rangoon. They quickly gave me my order. I got home and opened up the containers and bit into the battered chicken and it was fossilized. I have never had such hard dried out food. the pork however was fresh and had more meat to it. On the plus side I did like their Crab Rangoon. I thought about contacting the business to rectify this situation as the complete order was $ 22. I was not enthused in doing another errand and to me this is the most disrespectful thing a business can do. Give you the worst product it is capable of producing. Do I really want to go up there and have them give me more food? No! Would I want a refund, sure! But that seems to be a hassle. In short I could of made a sandwich at home but I chose to pay for food to be prepared. This was my worst experience to date with eating out. It’s a hassle to deal with poor product and service. I rather make a sandwich than buy food from here. Additionally, I would like to recommend the best Chinese place that I have found: Sesame House 2195 W Green Oaks Blvd Arlington, TX76013 (817) 446‑1119

We love the food and service at Jade Café. We have food delivered from there around three times a month, and we are always pleased. They always deliver on time, and usually they arrive early. We have eaten and enjoyed several of dishes from Jade, but my all time favorite is the Orange chicken. The crust is so light and crispy and the sauce is sweet and spicy savory delight.

Great Chinese food! It’s really nothing too special though. The egg rolls could be better and the fried rice is woah dry! I always get orange chicken, sesame chicken, or General Taos chicken. NEVERGETTHELEMONCHICKEN it’s absolutely disgusting. Oh, and they deliver fast:) the food always taste better if you dine in though.

Great place!!! Ordered the Kung Pao chicken and steamed dumplings. Good prices on lunch specials too($ 5 – 6). Excellent flavor. Most importantly, they use real chicken and not some sort of mystery meat!

Overpriced for the product. Eaten here a few times, found a better spot for cheaper and better food.

My favorite Chinese food place! Homey atmosphere, great sized portions!!! I typically get the orange chicken and egg drop soup. I don’t know that those 2 dishes can be beat at any other restaurant! I bring all my out of town friends here

I thought the food was very good. We ordered General Tso chicken, won ton soup, and egg rolls. The server was friendly, the place was very clean. Would definitely go back again.

The food is good, and we’ve been eating here for years. Usually, I would give it a 4 or 5 star, but last week was different. I decided to go in the restaurant and order take-out for my hubby and I. While I was waiting for my order to be prepared, I couldn’t help but notice the extremely bored little girl(obviously one of the employee’s children) in the main part of the restaurant riding her bicycle INSIDETHERESTAURANT! She rode around and around the tables where people were trying to eat. Of course, she quit doing it as soon as one of the employees would come out of the back room, but not one of them said anything to her. They didn’t warn her, ask her if she was doing it, or anything. It was ridiculous and very very unprofessional. I wasn’t impressed, I didn’t think she was cute, I thought it was unbelievable. I won’t be back ever again. Some people need to realize that not everyone thinks their children or their pets are as adorable as you think they are.(Coming down off of soapbox).

I’ve been ordering jade café for over 5 years now. it’s regular Chinese take-out but it’s a very clean restaurant. their chicken dishes aren’t soggy and the staff is always really nice. they deliver quickly and it’s cheap. love their fried rice.

Service — 2 Star Food — 2 Star Ambiance — 2 Star Three of us ate here, and it was not very good. Even the Won-Ton soup was flavorless, like eating hot water. We had the Cashew Chicken and a couple of shrimp dishes. I certainly hope we hit them on an off day, because we all agreed the flavors were just off throughout the meal. Left most of my meal on my plate.

Simple resturant. Quiet. I was there at an off-peak time, so not very crowded, but the front dest was taking phone orders like crazy. Nice environment, but nothing fancy. I liked the subtle music and clean feel. The food was very nice. The lunch price was a good value. This will likely be one of my usual eating places from now on. Oh yes, the hot and sour soup was very good.

I arrived, I ate, I left and thought: a solid 3 star chinese experience. Food:(3*) I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken as an appetizer($ 4) — which I thought was cool they put it as an appetizer rather than a meal– which I’ve always thought was silly. It was good. Egg rolls come with every meal, so that came out as well. It was nice and crisp– thumbs up for egg roll. finally the Hunan chicken came out. The flavor was good, but I’m anti –celery in my dishes, but that was my mistake for ordering it. There was a lot though. Besides that, I thought it was well made. Environment:(2*) When you walk in its just tables. Café is a good description for this palce. No booths, no walls, just a modest sized room with tables. Great place for quick lunches and meals, but not a place to bring a date to chat at. So ya, not bad, just not ideal. Other than that, it was tidy. Service:(5*) If I had a third hand I’d give this girl 3 thumbs up. I guess one advantage in having a small room like this is she is always within eyes view, without them having to walk by and hawk over your table all the time. I drink a lot of water– normally I warn my server, but this girl was on it so I didn’t have to say a word. Service was quick, friendly, and not the over-friendly obnoxious type either. For the most part quiet but prompt and proper. Best part of the meal, imho. Things to note: These guys do deliver and I think for free after a certain minimum amount. If you’re into delivered Chinese food I think you’d be very pleased. The food is good.

Flavor is pretty good here. I most recently had sesame shrimp, egg rolls, and fried shrimp. The fried shrimp comes as(4) small ones w/a funnel cakelike batter lain on a bed of shredded cabbage and carrots. The iced tea is always refreshing. 7÷14÷2011 We are going back for lunch today. I forgot to mention that we always ask them to make the dish extra spicy. They add more peppers and we are pleased. Luis liked my sesame chicken more than his peppered steak and says he’ll order sesame chicken next time. Service: straight forward w/a smile. I like ordering from the lady she can multitask well! Atmosphere: one room and well lit. The décor is pretty. Water: we always do take out so did not taste it. Wifi: don’t know b/c we always do take out TV: I don’t think so

I’m surprised to see the previous reviews left for this place. Bryan C wrote that the he would come back for the food, it was inexpensive, and the wait staff was friendly, but he left only 2 stars? I work down the street from this place and I have been going here to eat for at least 3 years. The owner and the wait staff has always been friendly and have repeat customers that they take care of. The orange chicken is what hooked me to this place a long time ago. I usually come for their lunch special, which includes a free drink and a soup or an eggroll. For decent and cheap fast food Chinese, this place beats the other places in town.
