Didn’t even bother to look up the item I was pawning. Chubs just looks at my item, and deadass stares me in the eye and says «10 bucks.» I applaud this kind of customer engagement.

I was really in need of some short term help and didn’t know what to do. I wandered into a cute little shopping area across Van Nuys Blvd. from the huge Panorama Mall. There was a small unassuming pawnshop. I walked in and the first person I saw was so helpful and pleasant, it seemed like he already knew me. He looked at a computer I had with me and immediately made me a loan on it. I just felt like I found a friend. I’ve been back several times since and everyone there is the same. Honest, helpful, polite and couldn’t be more friendly. I recommend The Pawnbroker to anyone who may need a small loan or may be looking for something interesting to purchase. These people are the best.

I really enjoy coming here, been here 2 times and the last time I took advantage of the 0% interest, great program. It really helped me a lot. Every other pawn shop makes me feel really uncomfortable. The people that work here were also very helpful in explaining everything. This place is hands down the best in town. Thanks Pawnbroker!
