Great fusion of Indian and Mexican food! I wish there was more of it!

This restaurant was a nice surprise just outside of Bryce. The Indian inspired food was very fresh and flavorful and a great treat on a drizzly day especially when craving something a bit different than«cowboy» fare. I had the tandoori taco and my friend had the chicken tikka. Posole on the menu. The meals were made on the spot and good use of spice. My taco was a little small but for $ 5…no complaint on flavor. Nice touch with mint infused water. Décor is a little sparse but the hostess/chef/owner has outstanding customer service.

This place was great! The venue was clean and the lovely gal running the place was very friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful and well portioned. I went with my dad and brother while we were on vacation. The owner said most of their patrons were vacationers. We ordered beef and chorizo taco, the tandoori taco, tandoori chicken, and the chicken tikka masala. Two tacos would be about right for a lunch, we all shared our plates and tried a little of everything. The beef and chorizo balanced nicely with the slaw in the the taco. I was pretty tempted to order another one. If you like the flavors of tandoori, the tandoori taco will hit the spot. I liked the pita bread as a taco shell. Tandoori chicken served with rice was nicely seasoned. I always love the combo of chicken and rice. The chicken was moist and the flavor was better than any other tandoori chicken I can remember eating. The chicken tikka was great! It was basically what you would get if you mixed a molé with a curry. I can’t really do it justice to try and describe it, it was just good. I probably could have eaten like 4x as much as I did… it was really good. I would eat here if it was a restaurant in my town. I would definitely eat here again.

New place in town with a it of an odd menu but as we stayed at a hotel that advertised them(hotel owned by parents of the restaurant’s owner) and we want to support local business and we like Indian food we checked it out. We weren’t disappointed with a tandoori chicken and a daal with rice and naan. Owner is very friendly and the other server was sweet and friendly, too. The food was as expected for homecooked style in a small restaurant. We left happy and had great chats with the onwer and her father. All the best to this place and till we are back in the area!

Perfect for those who are passing through town and want to eat something of quality that is also nutritious. First of all, the interior decoration is strikingly beautiful and unexpected. You will be greeted by the most kind and hospitable staff, who will not hesitate to guide you through the menu or ask questions. Our waitress shared how much of the vegetables and herbs used in the dishes are grown on her family’s farm. You will taste the freshness! We had the pickled veggies, two tacos, and the lentil special. Flavorful and delicious food. With a pleasant atmosphere, and with reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? It fueled us for the long road trip ahead and we are grateful! This restaurant is new but they really know what they are doing– can’t wait to visit again.

Good flavors in the tacos. Tender tandoori chicken. Portions are a little small, but the flavors make up for it. Great place to stop on the way to the national parks.

Who knew we’d encounter such a fine little restaurant in Panguitch! We’re fans of Mexican and Indian food and figured we’d give it a try. We had the chicken pozole and beef and chorizo tacos, as well as the tandoori chicken. The flavors were fantastic. After talking with the owner, the marriage of these two cuisines makes sense(spices, vegetables, etc.). Portions sizes are filling. Staff was incredibly friendly and we wish the restaurant were closer!

The Chicken Tikki Masala was good and the Tandoori Chicken was very good. Price is reasonable and décor was comfortable. Servings were a bit small so for the big eaters, order more. Didn’t expect to find a gem like this in the middle of nowhere.

On a dark quiet Tuesday evening I had a hard time finding the place — the sign isn’t lit. I had all 3 types of tacos. At $ 5 ea they’re a little pricey but they were deeeelicious! Just the right amount of spicyness to them. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Tasty Indian fusion restaurant! We had the Tandoori tacos, chicken tikka, mansoor dal, and hot chai. Everything was very flavorful and the right size to share. The chef chatted with us after our dinner… she was delightful and gave some useful tips for the rest of our road trip!

Tandoori Taqueria is a gem in the heart of Panguitch, UT. It was refreshing to see a restaurant that wasn’t a fast food chain, sub par BBQ, or greasy pizza joint in a small western town. I loved the Indian/Mexican fusion concept and got the lentil dish(special that day) and tandoori chicken tacos. Both dishes came out hot and fresh and were full of flavor. Portion sizes are filling. The service staff was great and handled a table of 6 of us just fine. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re passing through or staying in Panguitch.

Tandoori Taqueria is the best restaurant in the small town of Panguitch! Coming from New Jersey, this restaurant’s Indian/Mexican fusion food is an amazing and unique concept that has never been experimented with on the East Coast. The Chicken Tandoori Taco and the Beef and Chorizo Taco are a must if this is your first time visiting! I was salivating with how delicious it all tasted and it left me wanting more. There are also some more traditional entrees, Tandoori Chicken with basmati rice and naan and Chicken Tikka Masala, if tacos are not your thing. It is important to note that this restaurant stays later than most restaurants located on Main Street, usually keeping its doors open well past 10pm. It is also the only restaurant of two still open on Sundays. This is great for those who want to hike all day and fill up with great food before crashing in your motel room. Ripple, the owner, is courteous, friendly, an excellent chef and very attentive with her customers!!! I was nicely surprised with the quick service. The food is nicely priced and affordable(range of $ 5-$ 10 for all items on the menu). Trust me, once you come here, you will be back for more! I’m sad that I cannot take this food back with me to NJ and I will surely miss it! I plan on coming back to Panguitch just for Tandoori Taqueria!

Panquitch is a small town so I didn’t expect much. I was glad to find a unique place to eat since I hate chain food places. We had the Chicken taco’s(Indian /Mexican blend) that went well together. I was pleasantly surprised and would defiantly have them again. I love normal portions 2 tacos were just right Owner was very kind and asked us how the flavors were and chatted.

The food was yummy and the service top notch! I ordered the samosa sandwich(hesitantly) and was more than pleased with my choice. It was a fun take on the traditional veggie samosa and only $ 6. My husband had the tandoori Taco and cleaned his plate! At only $ 5, he was very pleased with the portion size. We just needed a quick lunch that wasn’t the standard greasy diner food and were so pleased to find such a fun and fresh take on traditional Indian favorites. Nothing was over $ 10 for the lunch menu so it was super reasonable, especially considering we were in a tourist town. We WILL be going back.

Are you kidding me? How did this place get such high ratings! We just paid over $ 70 for 4 very small dishes and 4 very tiny«tacos» in this very awkward and somewhat depressing restaurant. To begin with… The greeter/server seemed disinterested and bored. I said, «hi» as we entered and her response was«yeah.» Okay… We should’ve turned and left, but they were about the only place in this small town open at 9 pm. Unfortunately, we let hunger override common sense. There was a family there already, but the place was deathly quiet(think funeral quiet). There was no music or anything to create an ambiance. They had a enormous flatscreen tv, but it was off. Also, the owner/cook was too busy at her laptop to greet us(only the second set of customers) in a small place. She talked to us briefly to clarify some confusion about our point tacos and wish us good night as we left. The food is sub-par and not very flavorful — ESPECIALLYFORTHEPRICE! The rice wasn’t basmati; we honestly think there is a very good chance that it was Minute Rice. The tandoori and tikka masala were lacking the rich complex flavors of most Indian restaurants. Also, the naan were the kind you buy packaged at the grocery. The cook was gone for all of 10 minutes to whip out all of our dishes(big clue?). And where was the Indian/Mexican fusion?! It was second-rate Indian at best. The concept was bold and intriguing, but the execution is abysmal and meager. I’m sorry for being so harsh, but i feel like I was ripped off. What we were served should’ve been only half of what we paid(if that). Be warned you hungry travelers!

I was very grateful that this place was still open when the rest of the town was closed at 9pm. Food was high quality. The price was lower and the food had good flavor but portion sizes were smaller. We are from NY so we can throw a stone and hit an Indian or Mexican place when we are home. This is kind of a fusion place but not really sure it is pulling it off. I would rather it be just Indian and focus on making the Indian amazing. The young owner is trying to be new and hip in a town with limited culture. I support the idea but the execution is missing the mark. The young staff lack any enthusiasm or overt friendliness. The tables had no settings. The restaurant looked like a steak place with nothing that gave it a warm, friendly atmosphere. No curtains, no table clothes, no center pieces, no pictures on the walls, stark white bathroom no color or decorations. I fear if she does not put in effort to make this a warmer, more consistent, more friendly dining experience that it will be lost on the locals and travelers will be her only customers. If this restaurant was in my home town I don’t think I would go back. The food was good but not excellent, the menu was too limited and kept the Indian and Mexican choices separate so it kind of misses the point of fusion and is just confusing. I got my own water because the three young staff members were not attentive and looked bored as they checked their cell phones. The over all lack of warmth as I stated before.

The food here was amazing. My husband orderd the beef and tandorri tacos and they were both very flavorful and hit the spot. I ordered the samosa sandwich and it was delicious and is easily one my favorite thing on the menu. Also the food came out quick and the service was excellent. Ripple(the owner) is very courteous and made sure we were taken care of. I really enjoyed the environment of the restaurant and I felt at home. This is a definite gem in Panguich and I would recommend anyone passing through to stop by here!
