We ordered the Taco El Pastor and Burrito Verde. It’s been quite a few years since we ate at Peppers and wanted to see if they have improved since our previous visit. Quick answer is no. To start off with, the parking lot is way too small, the place was packed inside, and it was extremely noisy. Very difficult to have a conversation. The service was slow and our waiter was not friendly at all. The quality of the food was just average. We ordered the Home Made Guacamole, which came in a very small bowl and was just ok. I don’t think we will ever come back to Peppers. There was simply nothing about this place that appealed to us.

The food is great! Large portions and very filling. Everything about this place was on point minus the waitress. Service usually is a point for me to say if an establishment is worth visiting. This time the quality of the food is what saved this restaurant. I’ll just say that the server was absent unless called over. It’s a hit and miss town though so do not read too far into that.

Food was excellent, waited about 20 minutes for a table tho(however it WAS Friday night) the place was packed. Our waiter was pretty attentive considering this. My only complaint was that there was standing room only at the bar so people were standing with their backs to our table being that our table was behind the bar seating, it was just rude that a crowd had their butts in oqr face really, not too mention they were loud and having chugging contest. Overall this shouldn’t reflect the restraunt, being a busy place is a good thing. The price was decent and they offer coupons in local advertising. I’m sure we will be back during a not so busy time.

We used to eat here when we lived in PC. Still Great! We’re here on vacation. Been eating at those places on the beach. Peppers is so much better. I love it. My wife loves it. It’s worth the drive from PCB.

We totally recommend this Awesome Mexican restaurant. My husband and I just ate here, and honestly we have nothing but positive reviews, Fernando was an AMAZING server, the speedy service was AWESOME and the FOOD, both our dinners were totally DELICIOUS… We are so Glad we took the chance and gave them a try… The parking was simple. Can’t understand the previous horrible reviews… Don’t believe it, try them yourself!

Im from Los Angeles and have been here 10 years. I’ve been to Mexico maybe 50 times. I know and love Mexican food. I’ve tried all the Mexican restaurants and Pepper’s is the best. I don’t ever order normal items like combo platters. I go for the Chile Colorado, w chunks of beef in a red spiced sauce. They have a great Carnitas pork dish w lots of condiments and tortillas. They also make a great Carne Asada w grilled onions. It’s a seared flank steak. I always have them add grilled jalapeños to it. They also have Tacos Al Pastor. It’s a bbqued street food I’ve grown up eating from Tijuana all the way down to Alcapulco. I order a dinner Even Chile Verde(pork in green spicy sauce. And ask to pay extra and have them add some Pastor to your plate. For like an extra 4 bucks. It’s not like American BBQ. It’s been marinated in different chiles and pineapple and then grilled. It’s delicious. We go to the bar atleast once a weak and eat and you can’t beat the 2 for 1 beers, well drinks. And Margaritas. Great salsa and chips too.

It’s a pain to find parking but I usually just park at the hotel beside peppers. It’s always packed but worth the wait. Once seated It doesn’t take long for the food. When I go I get the peppers burrito & it’s so good.

Not sure about the food… it looked great from a distance. I’ll never know because I sat and waited and waited and waited and was never offered so much as a glass of tap water. Oh, wait! I got a basket of chips and some salsa thrown in front of me. I was entertained watching other customers being seated around me, brought drinks, and then their food. And I waited some more, while watching the wait staff hang around the end of the bar in a half-full restaurant. I finally paid for the chips(so I couldn’t be accused of skipping out on the bill) and left. The service at Peppers is miserable. Find somewhere else to get Mexican food when you visit Panama City.

Peppers has awesome food. They are best for takeout, because the place is so loud you can’t hear yourself think muchless your conversation, and the service is unbelievably rude, condescending, and unappreciative of your patronage.

To start parking is a pain but once you are parked let the good times roll. I found getting there around 5:30−6 was best. People are usually leaving and your wait time isn’t too long. Once seated depending on how many tables your server has sometimes it take a minute to get drinks but don’t wait to long to order or else it’ll be a little longer till he or she comes back. It’s not their fault the place is usually packed. My experience was a Friday 5:30 so i was in-between then after work crowed and the dinner crowed. The drinks were amazing 2 for 1 you can never go wrong, I recommend the 14.99 size if you are looking for a small buzz and are not driving. This place has great food too but if you want to save some money share because the portion sizes are huge; plus the chips and salsa are good too so you will eat a lot of those. Enjoy the place is great!

The food here is really not that good, its not bad either but not anywhere I’d go again. They don’t really use much seasoning so its pretty bland. The service was slow but the food came quick and its really cheap to eat here. The bar was also really quick and really good! They brought my drinks before they brought my water which I was kinda confused about…

Food was good and service was great. It was very loud. There was a party and they were screaming and then popped something really loud. About gave us a heart attack.

The food is really good and the portions are generous. If you eat at this place bring an appetite. The only real issue with this place is how loud it is in this place. I notice it’s really hard to have a conversation because it really is that loud.

The food is good but not amazing. It’s really cheap so it’s a really good quality-price ratio, and the servings are huge. Will come back.

My wife and I decided to try peppers on a rare occasion that we had a baby sitter. We had had the peppers in port st. Joe several times and the food and service are always great. However this was not the case at our peppers. Chips and salsa were ok and our margaritas were average. We ordered the peppers fajitas for two, something we have acquired a taste for since eating at the one in port st. Joe so often. The food was hot but very bland. No flavor in any of the meat or vegetables. The shrimp was horribly overcooked. To top the experience off our waiter took our order and was never to be found again until check time. No refills. No smiles. No how is everything. I will continue to enjoy the peppers in port st. Joe but I wont be returning to this establishment.
