This place has REALLY improved over the last year. We went Friday. We had the most attentive, kind server. The food came out fast. Baked Oysters were great. The view is fabulous.

Two stars for the view and liquor selection. In other words, this is a great place to watch the sunset and drink a few. The food however, is consistently bad. I’ve been several times over the years, and though they keep trying to change their menu, it’s always the same fried overpriced salty items. Recently, they took all of their salads off the menu, and speaking of, the menu listed on their website is not the one at the restaurant. Service is usually pretty terrible too. My last visit, we waited 20 mins to get our drink order, another 20 before she came back to ask for our food order, and when it all finally came out, she forgot our requested condiments, waters, etc. I really want to love this place, but they have got to step up their food game.

The only good thing was the view. I’m usually not too critical and would never ask for them to take my food back, but I actually did. First of, we waited 35 minutes to get a drink. After waiting 10+ minutes for someone to get our order(which wasn’t even our waiter yet, and our waiter had to come back 5 minutes later to make sure). I ordered a mojito and I’ve never tasted that bad of a mojito… not worth $ 10. My girlfriend’s drink was okay. I ordered a dozen of baked oysters with parmesan and my gf ordered the tuna dip. The oysters came old cold and the cheese was hard and nasty. I send them back(something I’ve never done)… also only got 5 oysters. People on another table got their food and had to actually tell the waiter«go back now and get us some silverware», because they had asked multiple times… so he came back and cave them 1 plastic knife and 1 plastic fork…(there were 2 people). Anyhow… would not at all recommend this place… very disappointing. If you want a good view, may as well bring a flask and sit in the little park right next to it with the same view.

If I could rate this as a zero I would. First thing I would say is that the place was disorganized waitress didn’t know her station. Tables were dirty. We had to hunt down the waitess to take our order and clean our table. Then she took a while to bring our water and she forgot one. When the drinks the bloody mary just taste like celery salt and citrus splash tasted like strawberry lemonade misue the alcohol. When we reorder drinks she got the beer wrong and jolly rancher was water down. The waitress forgot my sweet tea which tasted like sugar water. As for the food only thing was good was the raw oysters. The fish tacos was cols, tasteless and dry. The bake oysters were overloaded on cheese. The waitress barely made time to find out if everything was ok. The best thing for the evening was good conversation with family and great view. Don’t waste you money. Other people had the same problem as we did.

So, we ended up here because Hunts was Closed… not worth it. I assumed all oysters would taste almost the saame when baked. somehow these oysters tasted old, gummy, and were over baked. They didn’t taste half as good as Hunts! I suggest Uncle Ernies next door if you miss out on hunts! The server was great, and it has a nice little setting, but, eh.

The only thing going for this place is the view and beer. We ordered raw oysters to start. They were served properly on ice with trimmings. After eating a couple we came across some bad ones. That spoiled our appetite for more. Then we ordered shrimp quesadillas. They were pretty good although very greasy. The fish tacos were awful. The fish had no flavor and was terribly over done. The gumbo had good flavor but I counted one piece of okra, two skinny slices of andouille sausage, and one tiny piece of shrimp. Don’t waste your money on the bowl size because the cup is about the same amount, but cheaper. I’ve tried this place two or three times hoping it would get better but it never does. It’s too bad because location is great. They need a new chef, better service, and waitresses without waxy black lipstick that kills your appetite.

The view was outstanding. The service was very slow. You had to ask multiple times to get anything. They had live music on the deck. Overall slow service, mediocre food, great view and atmosphere.

Food and Atmosphere were incredible! Being a local of 12 years, we stopped visiting due to bland food and bad service. This place has improved tremendously within the past year! Service has definitely improved since our last visit. Compliments to the kitchen manager, Joey and staff! ½ lb hamburger was delicious and juicy as were the gator bites and sushi! Drinks made by Troy were INCREDIBLE! Will be back, definitely a favorite of ours!

My girlfriend and I were facing a 90-minute wait at Hunt’s so we decided to walk around and find oysters and drinks before our table was ready there. We walked to Gracie Rae Bar. Walked inside and waited 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. When that didn’t happen, we asked a passing waitress if we could take any seat. We were told we could. So, we went outside and sat down. And sat. And sat. The place must have been severely understaffed. In the 20 – 22 minutes we waited for someone to come to our table, no one came. There were several empty tables on the deck and it appeared that there were maybe only two waiters assigned to the whole deck. No one even made so much as eye contact with us. This place has a great view but that’s all it has going for it. The service isn’t atrocious… it’s actually nonexistent. Steer clear of this place at all costs. Hunt’s is worth the wait. Note: this place shares waitstaff with the adjoining Salty Hawg Oyster Bar. We experienced identical lack of attention at Salty Hawg, as well. I recommend you stay away from all restaurants in this building, which appear to be operated by the same management.

The food was horrible. The sushi was the blandest we have ever had in this town. While eating my house salad I almost threw up because there was something very rotten in it. The server was very nice and we liked him but he didn’t comp the food we couldn’t eat. The manager Joey came and wasn’t very nice. He just kept telling us we were the only people to have ever complained about the sushi. Find that very hard to believe. Not worth the price or the chance of getting bad food again

Absolutely beautiful view. But the service was the worst we’ve had in a long time anywhere. They took our drink order as soon as we set down but no one came to take our food order. When we asked if we actually had a waitress assigned our table the girl said she would check. She then came back and said that our waitress was having some«» issues”. Whatever that meant so she took our order. When our grandson try to order the barnyard chicken or something along that line the girl that took the order said that doesn’t sound very good and to show her that it was on the menu. He liked his chicken when it finally came more than a half an hour later. My shrimp was cold and greasy and onion rings very greasy. My husband had the grouper sandwich he said it was OK but nothing special. What a terrible terrible waste of a beautiful view if they could only get their act together. The food was below average the view is awesome too bad they didn’t match. Would never go back again

I travel a lot for work and as a result, I eat out a lot. This bar far is the worst restaurant I have been to in a long time. Great view right on the water and surprisingly very few seafood items on the menu. I had the smoked tuna dip. Took 20 min and was very cold. Thank god it had jalapeños served with it or it would have had no flavor at all. Felt uncomfortable ordering anything that wasn’t fried so j had the shrimp basket. Then I’m told credit card machine does not work and they only accept cash. They were willing to write down my credit card info and run it later. Very shady. I truly expect to throw up later or at least have diarrhea. Do not come here unless you plan on paying for over priced food, amazingly slow service and possibly rapid weight loss.

I have eaten here on many occasions and for casual dining and oysters I have never been disappointed. A Good alternative to Hunts without the wait and a much better dining experience with a super view. We eat there today, had raw oysters, fish and shrimp tacos and it was all excellent.

Great view of the bay! They were understaffed the night I visited and it was obvious. The weight staff was running around frantically trying to take care of customers. Many of the tables were left dirty. The food was average because they were so backed up. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

$$! But worth it! Overly friendly staff and the food was great. Large portions. The ambiance was nice and not overly loud. Worth stopping in. The drink specials are awesome and you can have your seat inside or out!

The good: the staff is awesome(except for that creepy blonde Eastern European chick.). They are fast and friendly. The manager is great. The food was delicious and the drinks refreshing. They have some great specialty drinks. The bad: only one thing — the food took FOREVER to come out. Good thing they have good drinks — you can drink a bit more while waiting for your food.

After a fun morning at the Doggie Beach across from Pier Park in PCB, we(4 adults + 2 dogs) wanted to have a relaxing outdoor lunch at a dog-friendly spot. After a search on Unilocal,I ended up choosing Gracie Rae because it was a little drive away from the craziness of PCB, and it looked like it had a great view, and it did! I was nervous at first because I have never dined out with the dogs before and I wasn’t sure if the patrons and servers would be kind to our 2 large GSDs. Luckily, our server was so sweet and welcoming and the patrons were super dog-friendly. There were quite a few other dogs there as well so it was very cool.(Unfortunately, I can’t say all the servers were as friendly.) The food was quite good! A little on the greasier side but I enjoyed it. I loved my all-you-can-eat catfish basket :). The key lime pie was HUGE and tasted very much like the key lime pie yogurt that they sell in stores. It would have been extra awesome if they had offered water bowls for the dogs since it can get quite hot on the deck, but I’ll be prepared if I get a chance to go again. All-in-all, great experience with friends, dogs, sun, and view of the water! Btw, It was a little hard to find, so look out for the building with the deck by the water with red umbrellas.

Gracie Rae has an amazing water-front patio and decent food. It’s too bad the service absolutely sucks. Ordering drinks brought to our table was taking entirely too long. That’s okay just walk up to the bar and order your own drinks, right? Wrong. I was completely ignored by the bar staff for 10 minutes. I would have understood if the bar was busy but that was not the case. There were only 3 people sitting at the bar. Our server seemed distracted or perhaps a bit absentminded. I ordered hot wings with blue cheese and 5 minutes later she came back and said she forgot what I ordered. As soon as the wings came to the table I asked for more blue cheese dressing. The wings were surprisingly very tasty. They were hot but not too hot… Okay where’s that dressing I asked for? She forgot the dressing so I made a second request. When I was pretty sure she had forgotten again I went inside where I was ignored by the staff just like before. I was eventually able to grab the attention of a server walking by and he was nice enough to get the dressing for me. Don’t think I’ll be going back to Gracie Rae.
