You will be waiting up to an hour when it is busy. Your food may have to be sent back if it is cold or undercooked. Don’t bother waiting for your change on a tip. You will not see your server return anytime soon.

Service was lacking this time. We waited about 15 minutes for our bill. They were busy with multiple large tables and it seemed to me that they had a hard time juggling the big crowd.

So here is the run down. The food is not bad but the service is lacking. Our food was prepared to our liking but the service was awful. The waitress acted like she was bothered by us. Drinks not refilled. Never bothered to check in to see if we needed anything. I was embarrassed for my party. The server was not knowledgable about the menu, she described the food one way and when it came out, it was completely different. and not prompt with service. Such a disaster.

The service was great! The manager seated us and took the time to go through the menu with us. Our server was very attentive. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and it was very delicious. I would definitely dine here again.

I’ve been there a few times recently, and while their service is stellar, their food is lacking. One instance I ordered the shrimp pad thai and found a shrimp that tasted off, and the shrimp that weren’t off were rubbery and slightly fishy and weird. The next time I went with my husband for an anniversary celebratory lunch. We both ordered the corn chowder with lump crab to start, and neither of us could get through it. It was very thick like something that comes out of a can, lukewarm, and the crab tasted rubbery and off. They comped it and gave us a free dessert, which was very cool of them, but the dessert that was meant to be a gesture, tasted again, weird. It was gummy (obviously microwaved), with cold spots and hot spots, with cloyingly sweet raspberry ‘sauce’ poured all over the plate. If you go here, go to the bar and order drinks and bang bang shrimp.

I would have given a higher rating if my well-​done sirloin steak was cooked correctly, but it wasn’t. For twenty dollars and a long wait, my steak was basically overcooked or burnt on the outside, but almost completely rare on the inside. Everyone else’s food was okay so overall it was fine. The Bang Bang Shrimp was actually pretty good, though!

Bang Bang Shrimp with the sauce on the side is what’s up. Yummmm. Good cocktails. You can bring your own bottle of wine for a corkage fee and it is way cheaper than the menu prices. However, by the glass options are nice. Don’t get steak. I have had it way overcooked and shriveled up to the point where I had to send it back (which I NEVER do). When I did send it back, the service is prompt and the problem both times was corrected. Waiters agreed with me. You may have to wait… which is frustrating for a chain. I think some of the prices are a little high… but depending on your tastes, there really is something for everyone. I keep going back, so I must like it!

Always consistent and good. We go to bonefish for almost all our special occasions! Tonight we had the potsticker appetizer — ginger and spice — very good! My dinner was the lobster Thermidor — husband had bang bang shrimp tacos and homemade chips. We were both very happy!

Bonefish Grill is wonderful. I was craving a well prepared fish for dinner and was sick of the nasty places is found Lately. I like finding good new locally owned restaurants but nothing was cutting it in Panama City so far. So off I go to a trusted franchise. This place is glam and professional! Emery one who works here is knowledgable and friendly and call ya by name. I ordered ahi tuna rare and boy was it perfect. I felt like royalty! Their free premeal appetizing bread and pesto In oil is to die for with 10 ingredients in it including basil, oregano, Kalamatas etc… They’re Gluten Free friendly. I saw ppl here w kids too, must be kid friendly as well. Get the ahi and the side of seasonal veggies because they’re more like a delectable ratatouille sprinkles with parm. They leave nothing out here. Beyond delicious. Perfect experience!

My husband and I went this evening to celebrate our anniversary. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp and it was very good. I ordered Lily’s Chicken with broccoli and it was amazing! My husband ordered the tuna with mango salsa and he said it was delicious. The service was great, probably the nicest restaurant in town. We will definitely return again! Make your reservation online to save on wait time.

Although I prefer Panama City Beach’s Bonefish locations atmosphere a little more than this one this is probably still one of the better places on this side of the bridge to eat at.
Wednesday is $ 5 Bang Bang shrimp day so it gets a little crowded. You can also expect to wait in line about 15 – 45 mins on Friday and Saturday nights.
Everything on the menu is pretty much a hit and never gets boring due to them changing it up pretty frequently.
They have a pretty awesome selection of IPA’s and a full bar with first come first serve seating equipped with two flat panels to catch your favorite sporting event.
