Food is mediocre. Pizza is pretty good. Servers are not professional except for one or two exceptions. The waiting time for food is inconsistent and not always timely. The Waiter also asked a group of guys why they didn’t tip and the waiter was terrible.

I took my family here last year and the raw oysters were the best I’d ever tasted. The fried oysters, shrimp and fish were all delicious. We went back three times that visit. That was then. I believe they are under new management now. The prices went up and the quality went way down. All the fried food was disgusting. My son fortunately got a corn dog that was heated from frozen. I had a grilled grouper sandwich that tasted freezer burned. It was such a disappointment. The wait staff, too, was a disappointment. My wife had ordered a dozen baked and we had to constantly ask about them. When we got them, there were 11. As far as beer goes, if you like the Miller /Budweiser variety you’re in luck, but don’t count on anything else.

Oysters, Oysters and more oysters… I’m not sure what you look for after a hard day at work, but this was fabulous! I was helping a buddy do some commercial construction this week and I have to say — BEER&OYSTERS is just what the doctor ordered after a long, hard, hot day of work — You walk in to the small, very windowed place & you see what you expect for a beach front, bar & grill. They have a nice deck that looks across the street to hotels and slight obstructed Ocean views with plastic & wood deck furniture. Inside it’s a lengthy bar, a couple high tops and 20 tables. The staff is in shorts & t-shirts, the kitchen starts at the end of one side of the bar and has its own space behind as well. The staff is shucking oysters, waiting on customers and pouring drinks. We bellied up to the bar and were totally stoked to find 5.99 dozen oyster specials with 3.00 rolling rock pitchers… YESPLEASE! So, we ordered 3 dozen oysters and sat for 3 pitchers of beer. The music was good, the staff was inviting, friendly and served well. REMEMBER, we are at the beach & in the south, so speed was not a concern. The oysters came on plastic food trays like the lunch trays from high school, they were served with plenty of horseradish, cocktail sauce, baskets of crackers and a bevy of hot sauces. The bartender was also very helpful with the different sauces too. There were 3 other people at the bar, maybe 10 folks on the deck and a dozen or so in the restaurant. Everyone was being served on time, there was some families, some young group of suits and then a host of beach goers & work folk like ourselves. The beer was cold and the oysters were great. I highly recommend it —

A typical Panama City establishment minus the usual cheesy ambience associated with a lot of places in this town. The oysters were fresh and very reasonable in price. The $ 3 pitchers of Rolling Rock made it very much worthwhile. The patio is great and the live music was adequate. Service was strained but I think that was due to being understaffed. The grilled mahi mahi was very good and others members of my party had the fried fish basket and scallops and they were all very much satisfied with their choice. Give this place try.

Food was adequate, but the service is inept. Our waitress was pleasant, but they had no workflow. All the typical mediocre slips: Didn’t bring utensils, failed to bring right utensils when asked(only got a fork and spoon for a backed potato), special order(no cheese) submitted right — then brought out another customer’s burger, no refills for a long time and then bursts of refills. — And they weren’t even busy.

I had the bleu burger and it was wholly ok. I could have done just as well in my kitchen with no special ingredients. The whole location feels like they are expecting it to blow away the next storm, there is absolutely no décor. The service was quite strange, it looked like tourists had walked in and started waiting tables, no aprons, some in shorts, some in long pants, different people servicing the table. All of our drinks were in plastic cups. The whole experience screamed tourist trap, and being PCB, it absolutely was designed as such. There is no reason to return here, ever.
