Dick’s Wings & Grill – Panama City

I’ve been here a few times since they recently opened. Can’t speak for other menu items, but the wings are great, and there are so many different sauces to try. Staff is always nice and very helpful.

Horribly disappointed. Waited 25 minutes after ordering my wings and they did not show up. Worse was I was at the bar. Paid for my ok beer and left. Last time I checked customers were important. Apparently not here
One star because I cannot go lower

The ratings for this place seem to be all over the place. I can say that on the day that I went, they were on their game. The service was good and the wings were the best I’ve had since coming to Panama City. I even liked the food that wasn’t wings (there were four of us, so we had a good sampling of the menu). The service was outstanding. I can’t remember the name of the waitress, but she definitely earned the 20% tip. If it were closer to where I stay, I’d be a lot fatter.

Don’t waste your time. I’d give them a zero if I could.
I gave this place 2 chances actually. When they first opened I went for lunch (I work nearby) and was told they couldn’t seat me for at least 15 minutes even though there were empty tables. I only have a certain amount of time for lunch and since the place was new, I thought I would come back another time.
The second time, I was a single diner again. The staff (from the hostess to the waitress and I guess even the cook) acted like they were put out because it was only one meal for the table. It took forever for the waitress to even come over to take my order and then another 35 minutes to cook a rare hamburger. I have a family member who had a similar experience taking his wife to lunch. She ended up returning to work (a customer service job) with her lunch in a bag, and no chance of eating it. The employees act like they could care less if you come back. I would be surprised if they make it a couple more months.

Walking into a place like this and seeing that it’s empty at lunch time should be a slight warning. The location used to be a Hooters and surely the food was better back then. After ordering, we were informed that only one of the grills was currently working and that the food would take slightly longer than normal. Sure, that’s fine with us, we’ll have a few more drinks while we wait.
Food took 45 minutes and everything was room temperature upon arrival, even the grilled items. Flavored rubs were flavorless. Salads were made with iceberg lettuce, cheap shredded cheese, and overcooked chicken that had obviously been frozen.
Would not recommend.

The wings were decent. The service was awful. Very slow, the messed up two peoples orders out of 8, then messed up 3 checks. And the place wasn’t busy at all, so being busy was not an excuse. All of us are never coming back.

I really would like it if this restaurant could be a success because PCB needs variety… but I’m afraid the food needs to be improved significantly. The atmosphere is fine and the service is good.

We were hoping this would be a great place. Service was good, very friendly. I ordered the hog wings (shanks), they were so tough could hardly cut or chew them. Wings were OK, nothing to rave about. Overall disappointing

I really hate to be negative about a place, but that will be first and last time we eat at Dicks. It’s so close to us and we love wings, so we were all very excited to try it. I will say first, the staff was super nice, no complaints there. But the food was just not good. The three of us all felt sick all night after we are there. Once we finally looked through the thousands of wing flavors and finally agreed on a couple, we also ordered fried pickles, some chili and my husband got a flat bread pizza that literally had cherries from a jar on top of the pizza, gross. Our bill was over $ 50 and we all felt sick. It’s probably a great place to grab a beer and watch a game, but we will not be eating food there again.

Thought we would give this place a try since we were craving unhealthy food and the word «wings» usually fits that bill. Afterward, we all wished we would have ordered a pizza elsewhere and called it a night.
Where to begin? One, we will NEVER go back. This chain/​franchise needs a lot of work. Boneless wings are nothing more than chicken nuggets, frozen, heated and arrived on the plate cold. Onion rings arrived soggy, limp, cold and were obviously frozen as well. Steak quesadilla arrived cold, tough, chewy and flavorless.
The massive sauce selection is a confusing waste of time. Mainly, all sauces for wings are sugar and syrup based garbage with some flavor enhancers. Wings as well as everything served were one word… cold, cold and cold. Did I mention flavorless? For a $ 50+ check for several appetiZer type grub, very disappointing. Also have to mention, the black and blue fries are a joke. Cold, previously frozen waffle fries, dusted with some blue cheese crumbles and bacon bits. Bland, flavorless and disgusting. A big waste of money and we will never go back. Fool me once, I am a chump. The reason I gave 2 stars, the staff was friendly and were trying. It isn’t their fault the food is bad.
Should also point out that their salad dressing on the side for wings is in a to go container. Cheesy to say the least.

Sorry guys but I was hoping this place would be worth it. Only 2 stars for staff and cleanliness. We went on a Monday night and the place was only slightly busy. The staff is nice but somehow things just didn’t run smoothly. Our server took our simple orders of 10 regular wings and I ordered 10 boneless wings and fries. After about 20mins another server brought us the 10 regular wings but only 5 boneless wings from my order. I mentioned there should be 5 more wings and fries and the server looked at me very confused and said she’d talk to our server. It took them another 10 mins to get the rest of my order. First off, the boneless wings were crispy but tasted like they were made a while ago and set under a heat lamp and the fries had that «frozen» aftertaste. I could have dealt with the mediocre food if it hadn’t taken so long for me to get my entire order. Unfortunately there were a few other incidents that I would mention but the fact that a simple order took 30 mins to finally get right is enough to tell me that I’ll never go here again.

First of like to start off by saying the customer service was great. Even though our waitress was in training, and clearly the establishment has some «new business» issues, she did a great job. Now on to the review.
This place is similar to a Buffalo Wild Wings, and ironically is located where a Hooters once was. What you will find here that you won’t at other wings spots in there variety of flavors. You choose how spicy you’d like your wings, and then the options of dry rubs and sauces summing up to 365 choices… sound crazy, and to be honest having so many options will either have you flustered when ordering or force you to keep coming back to try them all. I was fortunate enough to try 6 different flavors.
We tried the Smokey Mountain, FL/​GA Lime, Cajun Ranch, Raspberry, Bacon Ranch, and Gold Rush. Out of those 6 there was a clear consensus that the FL/​GA Lime was the best. The other flavors seem to lack follow through. The description of the flavors had us hype, but our tastebuds just didn’t pick up on any of the tones. Most of the wings were bland, perfectly cooked, but virtually flavorless. I do believe once this place gets running they have the potential to be a 4 ½−5 star business, but now they just have some things to figure out.
Would I go back, yes, and I highly recommend others to give it a try.

Great food and amazing service. Always good deals. Has a frozen yogurt bar also! Sunday kids eat free. Happy hour 4 – 7
