We set out for breakfast at the Egg & I but line /wait was too long. Decided to try out Coram’s. The staff was very friendly. The food was not bad at all(steak melt omlette) but cooking time was a little long. The thing that earned the two star rating was that this location does not and will not accept Debit/Credit cards for payment. Conveniently the same time they decided to implement this rule they placed an ATM in the café which has a higger-than-normal ATM fee. Apparently they followed the«strip club» model. This is rediculous. It says they won’t accept electronic payment on a hand written note which none of us saw until it was too late. When asked why they don’t take credit or debit they replied that they were paying more in fees than they were making in revenue. Come on… It is 2015, cash only makes sense for a taco stand but even those take cards these days. We get it — the fees charged at the ATM machine which must be used by unsuspecting customers add 3 $ to every bill. Convenient. Made us not want to tip and its not the fault of our wonderful waitress. They should make it mandatory for the waitress to state that they do not take cards prior to an order being placed just in case you didn’t take the time to read the clutter of random hand written sinage on the door or window. Our«we should have gone to that waffle house right there» regrets are bad for repeat business.

I stopped here for some breakfast on my way to Destin this morning and I ordered strawberry pancakes and a side of Beacon cooked light not crispy. The food came and I was disappointed. The Beacon was not Cooked the way requested and the strawberries were very mushy. They looked more like strawberry jam than strawberries. The Beacon was good even though it was crisp. After I scraped the red goo off the pancakes, i took few bites and the pancakes tasted ok, but i didnt finish them.

Visited Coram’s twice this last week. Heavenly Hash is great — next time I might add a couple eggs. Have been a Coram’s patron during spring break for the past 10+ years. Can’t go wrong at any of the PCB locations!

The food here was a little too fried for my taste. They had a good breakfast emu though, just not appetizers.

Two sunny eggs and bacon on toast and a massive plate of sausage biscuits and eggs for pablo. Yes we eat healthy whilst at the beach! $ 16. Friendly service, food just OK, I think I still prefer casa de waffle.

This place is AMAZING! It’s a little hole in the wall right off the road. Ate breakfast here with husband &4 kids. We ate chocolate chip & blueberry… biscuits & gravy(homemade gravy & biscuits), has browns, sausage, omelet & eggs. Coffee was too weak. Only complaint! Food cooked right in front you in the open kitchen. Wonderful fast & friendly service. This place needs more reviews! Will be back next summer on our vaca!!!

If you are looking for a basic breakfast diner that is locally owned and located on the west end of PCB, check out Corams. Nothing fancy. Just a small diner much like a Waffle Shop but with the local touch. I give the four stars because of the staff. The waitress(Marlene) does a great job with a morning flow if regular repeat customers. The cook(Echo — yes that’s his name) can personalize your order with no problems.

Love this place. Very homey and welcoming. The heavenly hash is the best I’ve ever had and the service is great. Reasonable prices and above average food.

Main point of this review: Corams’ is the equivalent of a family owned Waffle House. I had already heard the comparisons to Waffle House, but didn’t realize they would be SO similar. The setup is almost identical; high-top swivel bar stools in the middle, booths galore, and an open kitchen that runs the back wall. Naturally, you can get breakfast all day, burgers, and of course… patty melts. The specialty is a hash brown dish titled«Heavenly Hash.» It’s Hash browns piled high with chopped ham, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, jalapenos, and cheese. Over all, the food was just fine. Nothing special, but fine nonetheless. Our waitress was really sweet and did a fantastic job. My only real qualm with Coram’s was the over all cleanliness. In general, it just had an unkempt feel. A lot of the leather seats were torn and cracked. In the end, this was a fine stop for some unhealthy goodness.

The food is okay, except for Pepsi products instead of Coke products. The cook was cool and does a great job! Then there is the server… she is in need of a complete psychiatric evaluation!!! I will NOT go back there thanks to her!

I love Coram’s but not this one. Drive into town and eat at the 23rd Street location. The employees here are scary looking and trashy talking. The place is always dirty and sticky. Not worth your money.

Typical greasy spoon. Ok for a greasy breakfast, weak coffee and butter substitutes. Prices were reasonable but they need better coffee, REAL butter and get rid of the FLUFFY omelettes or hard dry fried egg omelletes! Put some cheese in them and more ingredients. Pancakes are excellent if you could get butter! Employees are good as well as the service. Just needs to improve the eggs a little better, please…
