PAULINE is amazing! She literally saved my hair. I came to her based on a friend referral. At the time, I had a lady doing my hair, but she had to stop doing my hair because she got into a different field. Long story short, I went through a series of different stylist that really really messed up my hair. Eventually, I found Pauline & she fixed it immediately. I have now being going to her for almost 2 years. People always comment on my color & I have now referred several friends to her. I went to her in the first place because I was told she’s amazing with blondes (she took me from a dark brown to a beautiful light blonde color), but she’s amazing with everything else too I’ve learned.
Pros:
–Pauline is amazing with Blonde color
–Very Affordable compared to most South Bay salons
–Plenty of parking
–Tea, coffee, lots of beverage choices
–Pauline is the sweetest and so talented
–You get a discount your first time!
Cons:
Nothing comes to mind!
Side note: The «Simply gorgeous salon» Unilocal page says the price range is, $$$$ Very high end… I must add that Yes, this Salon is High End in Quality but definitely not in price. Like I mentioned above, this Salon is Very affordable compared to most Salon’s you will find elsewhere in the area… Unless you’re getting your hair done at Supercuts!

Ely’s shop is beautiful and she is a fantastic hairdresser! I’ve been going to her for over a decade and she really does a great job with hair. She’s also a sweet and stylish young woman who’s a pleasure to talk with. I highly recommend her!

Simply Gorgeous is such an adorable shop! They are also very professional and make sure you are well taken care of the minute you walk in. Pauline did my hair for my bridal shower, and it was gorgeous! I am very particular when it comes to my hair, but she understood exactly what I was envisioning, and it came out perfectly!

This is a very beautiful salon! And the costumer service is always great! They always make me feel very welcome with a fresh cup of coffee. I normally get my hair done by Ely, she truly is very amazing on what she does, she works magic with my hair every time. She was the only person I’ve meet that can color, highlights and blow drys my hair with out ever damaging it. My blow out last about 7 days every time. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. :)

I came here today as a referral from my mom who also got her done with Pauline so first off I give this place 5 stars because as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Pauline with a very warm smile and her understanding and patience that I was a little late to my appt. This salon is in a very nice area, a little tricky to find but once you see the Malaga bank ur practically there. The parking is along the streets and if u go a little further there is residential parking. The salon is very clean and chic. The ambiance was perfect like a salon should be. I went in not really knowing what I wanted and I shot a few ideas at Pauline and she looked at my hair and decided highlights would do and so she went to work, but before that she offered me coffee, water, and tea I thought that was very nice. I was there maybe a total of 2 hours which didn’t even seem like that long. I also got a trim too which did my hair wonders she made my layers really stand out which made the highlights look all the better. I had a great experience and will be coming back for a touch up soon.

First of all the salon is beautiful and located in a quiet and cute plaza in Palos Verdes. It provides a feeling of tranquility and style.
Second of all the staff is so friendly and helpful. I have been going to Ely for years. Ely did 9 different hair styles in less than 5 hours on the day of my wedding. She was able to accommodate all the different personalities and styles with no problem. And she kept us on schedule! Additionally she let my makeup artist work in her shop so that we could all do hair and makeup at the same location. Ely was so sweet and helpful during the entire process. I loved the way she did my hair and you will too!
