I can seriously eat the Mongolian beef from here every day it’s that good. BBQ pork fried rice is the best here. Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! I live right down the street, and it only takes 10 minutes for your order to be ready once you call!

good authentic chinese food. good service and friendly staff. what I like the most is they prepare their food very well. the meats are tender and the sauces has alot of flavor. the place could use some redecorating and renovations its very out dated. but at the end of the day good food and good service wins me all the way. keep up the good work.

Great lunch menu. Food is always amazing and plentiful. And prices make it a good value. Large sit down comfortable restaurant with booths and tables. Lots of parking in back. Nice large bar area for after work. A favorite.

Always amazing food. I love fish and this is the only Chinese place I’ve even been that offers tons of fish dishes. … not just seafood-fish! !!! Fantastic drinks, nice people, huge portions, great prices

Been going to the Chicago one since I was a baby and to this one since it opened. To this day it has the best Beef gailan chow funn ever. Extra crispy and extra gravy is the way to go. If you want to try something off menu try their mongolian beef chow funn extra crispy. It’s just as good as it sounds. They treat their customers right and their food even better.

We drive the extra distance because the food is just better at Hong Min. Every time. Mixed drinks are excellent and priced about ½ what you might pay elsewhere.

The Mai Tai!!! Two will rock you!!! The food? Amazing!!! I’ve had every appetizer and quite a few entrees. The food is always consistent, delicious and fresh. Paul, the owner, what a fantastic guy. Making the drinks and one hell of a golfer! My favorite her is the Hong Min Lo Mein combination spicy. Impossible to finish as its a very large dish! The pan fried pot stickers are worth a trip her just for those!

I went there with friends with the intention to dine in however decided to carry out due to the room temperature being a tad to hot for comfort. The food was good but not spectacular. I do feel I would be a returning customer.

Their old Chinatown location was one of everyone’s favorite last stop after a long night of studying, clubbing, drinking, or whatever activity back in the day. When that location burnt down in 2003, everyone posted and shared the tragedy for this empty void that sat in our stomachs. Then a few years ago, I decided to do a google search. What… I didn’t know there was a Palos Hills location?! Long drive but definitely worth every mile. When I sat down with a big smile of anticipation, I eagerly placed my order for the coveted Beef with Chinese Broccoli Chow Fun extra extra crispy as well as their Salt & Pepper Pork Chops. The dish not only looked but also tasted exactly as how I remembered it over a decade ago. I have returned many times since then and have never been disappointed.

Yum. This place is awesome. Great food and employees. The kung bo beef is really amazing. It’s among my favorites along with the beef with peapods, orange chicken, beef chop suey, and egg rolls

First time here and it was amazing! We went with another couple and first ordered a large drink called a scorpion bowl. It was enough for the four of us and was served in a big bowl. It was kind of like jungle juice! Very good! To eat we got 1 order of crab Rangoon, 1 order of pot stickers, 2 orders of orange chicken, 1 order of pan fried noodles, shrimp in a garlic sauce, and beef fried rice and we all still have leftovers. Our waitress was very sweet and chatted with us the whole time and was very attentive. I will definitely go back!

The inside is a pretty classic and thoroughly Asian-ized multi-room interior. Bamboo, dragons, horoscope place-mats. They brought hot tea at the beginning of the meal, filled water glasses frequently, and gave us almond cookies at the end. That already takes them worlds beyond other Chinese restaurants around here! Hong Min had really good hot and sour soup, and the portion was enough for two people. All of the portions were pretty big meaning we had leftovers for a couple of days, which made the whole dining experience economical. The Beef Chow Fun and the Chicken Hong Sue were really tasty, lots of vegetables and savory sauce. The pan-fried noodles of the Beef Chow Fun were especially good in the dish’s gravy. The egg rolls were standard factory-made fare but good regardless. One puzzling thing was that whenever our server spoke to us, she addressed my husband only, even if I was the one who asked the question. I’d like to try their cocktails sometime, possibly even the scorpion bowl(of bad decisions.)

As a famliy we decided to stop here for lunch on a Saturday. They have a large lunch menu selection with prices in the 4.95 to 5.50 range. Every order also came with the soup special, which today was Egg Drop. Some of the specials also come with an egg roll. Again can’t beat the lunch specials. Great value and the regular menu is also available. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and they asked me if I wanted it really spicy, which for me is a huge thumbs up. The Mongolian Beef had a perfect kick and the meat was very tender. I also ordered the shrimp fried rice which was good and had plenty of shrimp in it. My son ordered the Beef, Pepper and Tomato and commented also how tender the beef was. The inside décor and the outside is nothing to brag about. Considering the quality of the food, it is the best I have had outside Chinatown.
