Dr. Waters just performed lip surgery on my spouse. What a fantastic doctor, and even nicer human being. She is so caring for her patients and their families. She told us exactly what to expect and how to treat afterwards. More importantly, she made sure that my spouse was prepared emotionally for this surgery. Great doctor, great person!

I went to see Dr. Linda Waters, a couple of months ago, for several dog bites.
I saw her two times; the first time that I went was with the dog owner. She advised me to wait a year to see how they healed and to hold off on Cortisone, Laser, etc. until that time period and then I could think about treatments. Except that she did recommend going and seeing a reputable Aesthetician, in the area, for healing remedies.
I was scheduled to see her again, in September, for a follow up.
My Aesthetician said that I would probably need specific treatments down the line. She then wrote Dr. Waters to tell her that she was performing these specific treatments for me and Dr. Waters approved.
My lawyer asked me to request a report from Dr. Waters, for the insurance company, regarding the dog bites and projected treatments that she envisioned for me in the future. This is standard procedure.
However Dr. Waters left a nasty voice mail for my lawyer stating that she would not be involved and that she would not write any such report. She then went on to accuse me and my ‘boyfriend’ of being part of a scam. She refused to treat me anymore.
Yes, she indeed actually said those words. No joke.
This coming from a highly reputable doctor, within the medical community, that I was referred to by other highly reputable doctors in the same community.
I had only seen her two times. She seemed like a typical doctor; my interaction with her was minimal and I was usually in and out pretty quickly.
I have absolutely no idea why someone of her stature, within the medical community, would commit such an insidious, unprofessional, malicious act towards me and the dog owner. I have never been treated so poorly and disgracefully by a doctor in my life.
If she had any issue with me she should have not treated me in the first place; she knew of my claim initially and it’s pretty obvious the severe injuries that I had. If she thought all of those heinous things about me then she should have told me to my face.
It is an open and shut case. Period. And my lawyer, the insurance company and I are entitled to have a report of my treatment, thus far, and an idea of what treatments I may need in the future.
And as if I am not traumatized enough by this whole violent attack as it is; I have been suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The last thing that I need is stress and the absolute last place that it should be coming from is the doctor that I have entrusted my care to in the first place.
