This is Stanford’s version of a mini mart where I can buy soda and snacks at an affordable price. The folks who work here are cordial and helpful.

This used to be the only convenience store on campus that was actually convenient for students without cars. When that was the case, this TresEx was great. However, ever since ‘The Market At Munger’ opened up, this place isn’t as helpful. ‘The Market At Munger’ seems to have a better variety of items and is my ‘go to’ choice now when I need something.

CHEAPAFFORDABLESNACKS (4 stars) I’ve discovered a great place for the broke students! Whatever you need for an affordable dollar and for the quickness, this place has it. It seemed to have everything from Haribo brand gummies, coffee, gifts, medicine, magazines, lunch items, snacks, school supplies, etc. I even found ICECREAM here!!! It’s right in the heart of campus, next to the starbucks/jamba juice and just a few doors down from the student store.

They don’t sell bags of ice here, but they do know where you can get it– the gas station at Serra and Campus Drive. Thanks for your friendliness and helpfulness, TE!

This is a pretty convenient 7 – 11 type store if you live on Stanford campus, and it’s appropriately stocked with some organic/vegan/gluten-free fare as well as the requisite junk food. Their selection of toiletries and magazines and whatnot is also solid, just like at the Stanford Bookstore(I’ve yet to find a bad-quality product being sold on campus). The cashiers are pretty friendly too, and there are only lines at lunchtime. My only beef is that 90% of the products are way overpriced. Sure, they’re good quality, but you’re definitely paying a large premium mainly for convenience. Also, it’s not worth it to buy Stanford paraphernalia here– might as well get it at the student-run Stanford Store, which is tucked indoors next to the Treehouse, both across the open-air eating area from Tresidder Express.

Ever find yourself in need of Advil, Gummy Bears, a diet Coke, hair clip and a quick Stanford-branded gift for your cousin all at the same time? Well, you can grab all that and a magazine if you care to at Tresidder Express. Stanford’s convenience store, it has helped me out more than once. I just wish I could help this one guy behind the counter now and then, it seems he’s had a migraine for months! Must be thesis defense time!

Whether you need a quick sandwich, some medicine cabinet supplies, or Stanford collectibles such as t-shirts and mugs, Tresidder Express lives up to its name by getting you through without the lines you might encounter at the bookstore or some of the other eateries. This Unilocaler appreciates the friendly and warm service of the staff.
