This building is where the single adults attend church on Sundays. Ages 18-early 30’s. Before I got married this is where I went to church for over a year and it was such a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and I felt like people really cared about me and my well being. I made friends with people who I am still friends with to this day. We believe in Jesus Christ and believe he died for us and we focus a lot of becoming like Christ in the way we live our lives and help others. I recommend anyone who is searching for light and understanding and comfort in their lives to come and see how you feel at our church. All are welcome but this ward again is mainly for single people. There are other wards and buildings in the area for older singles or families. I now attend another building with my husband. Other common names for our church: Mormon, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, LDS.

I’ve been attending church here weekly for a year now. What I love about this congregation as opposed to others I’ve been to is how fearlessly they address modern issues and how Christianity can be applied in today’s world. Meetings are powerful and rejuvenating. Fellow worshippers are very welcoming. There are also several church-sponsored activities throughout the week to the point that the church really has become the anchor of my social life. Definitely worth a visit! Sundays at 9am or 1pm.

A Mormon couple in the White House in 2013? We’ll know in 4 months. What do non-Mormons know about LDS? Last year in the Wash Post, Joanna Brooks stated the most common myths about Mormons:(1) Mormon men have 3 wives(2) Mormons aren’t Christian(3) All Mormons are white and Republican(4) Mormon women have no rights(5) a Mormon president violates the church/state division. Brooks goes on to debunk each of these false impressions quite effectively, including the fact that right now there are 15 Mormons in Congress, most prominently, Senate Leader Harry Reid(D-Nev). From their own website, Mormons see Jesus as the Son of God and Savior of the world. Following Christ is the only way a Mormon can return to God. visit at el camino and stanford ave.

There are two congregations of extraordinary young singles who meet here. The younger group starts at 1pm, but I attend with those from approx. 31 to early 40s who meet at 9am. It’s a wonderful, spiritual congregation, who are friendly and excepting of all who attend. I love to spend my Sunday mornings here, and couldn’t imagine a better church for a single person to belong to.

I moved here from the DC area about six months ago and have felt overwhelmingly welcomed and taken care of by both the leadership and the members of the congregation. It is an incredible group of people, who both inspire and warmly welcome anyone– whether new to the group or just visiting. While the people make a world of difference, it’s the Christ centered doctrine and teachings that keep me regularly attending and participating. It is the constant in my life that helps me keep perspective and going in the right direction. In addition to the Sunday worship services there are activities throughout the week, including service, social, and religion classes.

I have been attending since May 2010 and appreciate how all including visitors are welcomed and included. the activities that start Sunday and go throughout the week are well-planned and uplifting. they bring together so many who desire to have wholesome fun and camaraderie. activities range from Sunday worship services, group dinners, athletic activities including races, service projects such as tutoring, dances like salsa dancing, institute, group acts, a variety to appeal to many different personalities. recently a Santa race was sponsored to raise money for a charity and coming up is a Christmas party and dinner. We don’t want any to miss out! whether you are a single member of the church or a person of another faith or no faith all are welcome!

Great uplifting Sunday meetings. The people in the congregation are friendly and near my age(young single adults). Made it really easy to meet some fun people when I moved into the neighborhood. Lots of people get together for activities on other days of the week besides just Sunday worship services. Definitely a place to go if you are looking for a community feel. Most people dress up for Sunday services, sometimes the building can feel a bit cool so ladies might want to bring a sweater just in case! Lovely, friendly place where everyone is welcome!

I’ve been attending this congregation for about 4 months and its one of the best I have ever been with. Its members are very friendly and cordial with visitors and new members. It was very easy for me to feel welcome and part of the congregation. All people attending this location are single adults from about 19 – 35 either going to school at Stanford or working in the area. Older adults and families usually attend their 3865 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto, location, but all are welcome. It is definitely a social group and a great place to get to know people. Durring the week there are often activities involving such things as sports, eating out, dancing, service, and tutoring. Church messages are very uplifting and consistently incorporate the teachings of Jesus Christ. These members really do try to live what they teach and are encouraging to others.

I’ve been attending this church for one year now. The people who attend services here have always been very kind and friendly to me and to the visitors I’ve brought to church. Services are conducted in a three-hour block, with each meeting being about an hour long. Sermons encompass a wide variety of topics, most focus on Jesus Christ and how we can try to be more like him. Scriptures used are from both the Bible and Book of Mormon. Music is a key part of worship services at this chapel. Nearly every meeting begins and ends with a song(if you don’t sing, no worries! Just listen). Speakers and teachers for the meetings are regular attenders asked to impart of their wisdom; so every meeting is different! There’s parking available in both the parking lot and on nearby streets. I attend the 9am services, but there are two options for meeting times at this church location. A second option for services begins at 1pm.
