Starbucks

subpar in am. every day there’s a rush between 730 and 8 o’clock but they never have enough staff or staff is restocking or talking to customers. today the ‘barista’handed me a drink that was so full when I opened the top it completely spilled over onto the counter and then looked at me like I was nuts when I asked her for a rag to clean it up totally unprofessional and subpar not recommended try Nordstrom’s Ebar instead

This is the worst Starbucks location. Every single time I come here, they «just ran out» of any drink I attempt to order. I’ve tried different drinks on different days at different times and it never fails…“just ran out.” The employees don’t even offer the next best thing to anything I’ve ordered. If they don’t have what you want, they move right on to the next customer. This is because one frustrating. I’m JUST RUNNING OUT to another location. This place obviously doesn’t want my business.

Before the remodeling, they had great staff. one of the staff even remember what i always order the moment i walk in the door. after the remodeling, the service has gone down hill. there are two female staff there that may be should drink some coffee before they start working. they have such terrible attitude and that is the last thing i want to see first thing in the morning. Please retrain your staff or bring the old ones back!

Alright service but the place is a wreck! Looks like a group of junior highers came in here and had a food fight. Needs new staff or more staff only 2 people working?! And they ran out of whip cream?!? Because they say it’s optional?! This place needs help…

They always get my coffee correct and they are understanding when your phone takes a while sometimes. There is no reception in the store what-​so-​ever but they, like all starbucks, do have free wifi.
Decent, regular, starbucks with a great staff.

I love this Starbucks, go here often. Jose and Eric are my favorite Baristas and the new manager Vikki is really nice, better than the last one. Since she took over, this starbucks has really turned around, it is faster, friendlier and what a great starbucks should be! This is a new staff, and we will see all the great drinks they can make! Thanks baristas!

I’m so sad! Since the remodel it seems like most of their old staff is gone. I’ve been here several times in the last couple of months and unfortunately nearly every time I’ve been in my order has come out wrong.
Seriously, from food items that never come out, to espresso drinks made incorrectly to «oh, we’re out of that, they should’ve told you at the register, want this (cheaper coffee drink) instead?» They are really friendly here, and always apologetic when something goes wrong. The space looks great since they re-​did everything, but at the end of the day, what I need in a Starbucks is my coffee, made quickly, made correctly and with a minimum of hassel.

It’s a good place if you stop by to rest bc you are tired of shopping. I am a Starbucks study bug, so it is not good here to study.

Came here the other day. The barista/​cashier was very polite.
This location is really clean, and is quiet in the morning. By the time, I was leaving the mall, I stopped in for a refill and that is when the crowd started coming in.

This is a nice establishment and a wonderful place to enjoy my latte. The service is good and coffee is always perfect!

Amanda, Eric and Alejandra are beyond Amazing! I enjoy their Customer Service Amanda always remembers no foam in my latte’s :)

This is a very nice Starbucks! The service is great, and the drinks are always perfect.
My only complaint is the organization of the line — it’s okay when there’s only five people, but when it gets crowded (as this Starbucks tends to be), it gets very confusing and cramped.

It’s difficult to review a chain, especially one as large as Starbucks, since each location is supposed to provide a similar experience to every other one. Nevertheless, I think this particular location deserves at least one review.
This Starbucks is located at the Stanford Shopping Center, near Abercrombie & Fitch and the Macy’s Men’s store, right next to Lucky Brand Jeans and Jamba Juice. It’s a great location mostly because the mall’s main public restroom is right behind it.
I visit this Starbucks every time I go to the mall. The line can seem pretty long during busy times (the space for the line is a bit cramped), but it usually moves pretty quickly.
The staff is always cheerful, even when it’s busy. One time, there was a new employee who was having a hard time reading my gift card, and the senior employee was all smiles in helping him out. You can tell that all the employees like working there, which helps create a positive vibe in the café.
The storefront has large windows, so the café is always very well lit (it helps that Palo Alto often has nice sunny weather). The actual café is on the small side, but there is a great outdoor seating area. I’ve never had a problem finding a place to sit. The free WiFi works much better on my iPhone than the mall-​wide WiFi (for which I rarely get any connection at all).
Recommendations: My usual drink is a simple grande drip coffee. In the summer, I like a venti unsweetened iced passion tea lemonade. Make sure it’s unsweetened! Six pumps of syrup in a venti lemonade is completely unnecessary.
If I feel like splurging a little (calorie-​wise), I love their java chip frappuccino and their peppermint mocha. The petite vanilla scones are amazing. During the holidays, the cranberry bliss bar really is bliss. It goes great with a peppermint mocha.
