I love this moderate-sized store and its super-friendly staff! It’s the perfect place to check out the latest prAna styles and not be overwhelmed by too many choices. The interior is a nice blend of outdoorsy and modern chic. If you follow this location on Instagram, you’ll be in the know for cool in-store events and special yoga classes, which is how I learned about their opening and how a pre-holiday event got me in their door — and out with a few presents for my hubby. prAna Palo Alto is doing a great job marketing to the locals(i.e., yours truly)!

After Prana Valley Fair closed the best place to go get Prana gear was the local REI, but the selection was limited. It is great to see Prana open back up in Palo Alto and the location is convenient(where Scott’s Restaurant used to be) and right across from Kara’s cupcakes. The brand has grown up a lot and a great place to go for everything rom yoga and hiking clothing and accessories to rock climbing and even shirts and jackets that are stylish enough to go out at night in. The staff was very friendly and the only thing I wish there was more of was additional retail space dedicated to men’s apparel. Overall a great addition to the shopping center and worth going to check out if your an active outdoor enthusiast looking for functional yet stylish apparel.

Brand new prAna store in Palo Alto! I stopped by, and it was the first day they were open! Decent-sized space — a little over half is casual wear, the other half includes yoga wear, gear, and the checkout area. Staff were super friendly and excited to be there. Yoga mats and gear — They seemed to have pretty much all the items they offer on their website. The mat area was great — they had stock in every kind of mat, a nice display rack, and a really handy guide to the different types. I was surprised that the yoga wear section wasn’t larger. The selection didn’t seem that big, and it was mostly the darker/muted colors. I didn’t check out the casual wear — which includes both women’s and men’s — so I can’t comment on that.
